Peanuts Vol. 1 Paperback – August 7, 2012

I love seeing some new Peanuts. Charlie Brown and his friends always make me smile and remember the "funny papers" from my youth.

This is a great read. I cool hear all the voices in my head as I went along. Definitely recommend this book.

it is humorous and familiar, but there is a zen missing from the blend that used to be omnipresent in schulz. idk.

New cartoons and stories in Schulz's style, evidently by new writers, which cannot be helped. The original illustrations are the original cartoons, as far as I can tell, and I have been a fan for 40 years. It is a little different than the collections of Schulz cartoons, but mostly just as cute.

What's not to like when reading a book about Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts Gang. You will laugh out loud. This is a fun book for adults as well as the younger set. This is a nice collector's item.

I love the peanuts gang and I have some books on my tablet but this is the first one that is not short best book

This is the kind of reading that gives us the lightness we need during these hard times. I absolutely recommend it.

I cannot figure out what all the fuss is about this first volume of this Peanuts collection. It is fine but no better than the rest. As another reviewer stated it is only half original Charles Schultz strips, the rest are new strips by various artists. The new strips are very good and follow the Schultz style very well. I would certainly recommend that no one pay more than the cover price for this book though, which is fourteen dollars US. The outrageous amounts that I have seen being asked for this book are totally unjustified. I purchased mine for cover price due to a small crease in the cover, what do I care, I am reading the book not framing it. The artwork is just as it was in the Sunday funnies and the colours are beautiful and bright. The book is printed on high-grade glossy paper. It appears to be made well enough to stand up to many reads and re-reads by you, your children and grandchildren. There are 107 pages in the book.

Grand fan de Peanuts, je suis un peu déçu, cette nouvelle mouture manque d'un peu d'âme, c'est mignon, l'édition est sympa, les couleurs et le papier glacé sont bien agréable, tout comme les efforts de mise en page, mais on est TRES loin de la profondeur de l'œuvre de Charles M. Schulz. Pourtant, tous les éléments y sont, on reprend des classiques et les thèmes de Peanuts, mais j'ai l'impression que les auteurs n'ont pas eu une lecture en profondeur de l'œuvre originelle. Bref, ça me rend un peu triste (en mode Charlie Brown déprimé...)
