I believe they are made in China but had painted elsewhere. I really can't remember since I have carried these ornaments for many years. I checked the website and googled your question but could not find an answer. If you still want to know and don't get other responses, write me back on Monday and I will call the Company.

Q: how well is this packaged?

This ornament is very delicate and the packaging was very adequate. I have over 12 ornaments from Old World Christmas and not a single one has been broken on arrival. The packaging has improved significantly from previous years.

Q: Does this squirrel have white/cream on its chest and face? Or gold? I ask because i found some in stores but need a few more. Those show all gold

I purchased this as a gift and don't recall whether it's white or cream.
