**Update:I just did a major turn of my compost pile and over a year later there isnt a single trace of a cup. Not a thick bottom, not a rolled rim, nothing. Just beautiful black gold. So these are 100% compostable, it's not just a sales gimmick!Not all paper cups are created equal! That being said, I'm very pleased with the quality and durability of these cups!First, I love that they are in packages of 20. I appreciate not having 100 cups open at once.These are VERY sturdy! When I took one out, I was blown away that it was a paper cup! They are strong 💪🏽 and even after leaving one on my desk 3/4 of the way full overnight, there was not a single leak or weak spot the next day. They don't get soggy, even after several refills throughout the day, which saves some cash because I'm not having to grab a new cup every time. I'll also add that I'm thrilled these don't have that disgusting wax coating on the inside!These are great for both cold (I like my cup FULL of ice) and hot beverages, however they will get hot, so I do reccomend some sleeves.The main reason I chose these cups is because they are compostable. I have already gotten 10 or so outside and will update in some months when I can.As far as value for the money, at $ .23/cup they are on the pricey side, but the quality and environmentally friendliness makes them worth it to me.That's a long review for cups soTL:DR- These are excellent! 10/10 recomend!

They are nice and thick sturdy cups

I love the simplicity of these cups and they lasted me forever. I didn't reorder though because they are untextured so my grip on them wasn't always stable and because my lips literally were sticking to this cup. The paperly quality seemed to draw all moisture from my lips, and I've never had that problem with any other cup. So I had to lick my lips every single time before sipping to prevent that. To be fair I have dry lips but they've never stuck to any disposable cups until this one. That may seem petty but if you tear your lower lip away too fast its painful. But if you have very moist lips then you might love these cups.
