Okay
It’s okay for a quick look on someone else’s coffee table, but nothing worth having yourself.

Small selection
There are a few floor plans and some front exterior views in this book. Nothing extensive. They are mostly of a shared basic pattern with living, dining, kitchen, porch on one side and bed/ bath on the other.

small but very interesting
This reminds of a house catalogue book my mother had from the 30's or so. I used to love to look at the plans. That book was destroyed by mistake and when I saw this I thought it might be a copy of the same book. It is not the same but very similar. The plans are quite different from a lot of the plans you see from the period, the descriptions are pretty interesting too with the flowery language of the time. I love houses and plans so this is a favorite of mine, but it is an interesting slice of the past as well. Also, quite honestly some of these plans are pretty nice and with slight adjustment could be very nice houses for these times.

Great to flip through and admire...
I have a fascination with the PNW and the architecture of the region. This book was fun to flip through and look at the various plans available through mail order years ago. I would recommend this book to anyone that finds the houses of the PNW interesting.

Informative and helpful for those who may want to build a Craftsman house.
Clear pictures and helpful information regarding the cost to build each house in 1920. A good jumping off point for anyone who wants inspiration for the construction of their own Craftsman house. The numerals on the blueprints could have been larger to help in figuring square footage. It would also have been great if the second stories and basements had been included for every house, but they might not have been in the original publication, either.Overall, a really nice look into the past.
