Clear Cassette Polybox (10 Pack)

The material is a little thinner and more flexible than I expected, but the flexibility probably contributes to its durability. These don’t seem like they would easily crack, split, or tear. The case is the exact size of a standard cassette with no room to spare, so there would not be space to include a standard insert. These are a few millimeters smaller than a standard hard plastic cassette case in length, width, and height, so that could potentially affect storage if you need consistent sizing with classic cases. I’ve included photos of a standard size cassette as well as a standard hard plastic case for size comparison. I just needed these to protect old cassettes that didn’t have a case, and they’ll be perfect for that use.

I had specifically been looking for Cassette boxes WITHOUT PEGS but the prices for those seemed excessive. While looking through other options I ran across someone else inquiring about the same thing and these were suggested. Believing them to be what I was looking for I sent off for a box of 20.When they turned up in the mail, big surprise... PEGS! I was disappointed at first and thought about returning them but then a friend of mine offered to sand off the pegs and I'm glad to report they actually turned out quite nicely (In case you were wanting to do the same thing yourselves)Seeing that I only paid 30 cents for each cassette case instead of 2 bucks EACH I think I did pretty well!Thanks

They're slippery which makes them hard to stack, but they're good, inexpensive cases.
