ITBEBE RJ45 Crimping Tool Made of Hardened Steel with Wire Cutter Stripping Blades and Textured Grips (RJ45 CRIMPER TURQUOISE-B)

Needed a new crimper to replace an expensive name brand one that I bought nearly 10 months ago. That one was failing cable certification approximately 20% on cat6 23awg cable and 3 piece RJ45 connectors even after re-crimping the same connectors 2 to 3 times. The fails showed up on the Fluke Certification Tester as opens, either on the orange or the brown pairs. It was very frustrating and time consuming to redo a crimp two to three time to get a cable to pass. I do not like to borrow tools from others. The ITBEBE RJ45 Crimping Tool is not the lightest compare to some other different types and brands that I had owned, but it is the smoothest and requires much less pressure to crimp each RJ connector. After doing custom size patch cables, 43 of them, my hands wasn't fatigued. The prior name brands it took one hand leaning them on a frame to insure each crimp was properly seated and normally a failure rate of 2% when new, I called this user error. When crimping with ITBEBE noticed that it was smooth one action motion without the extreme force like the the brand name ones that I previously owned. For this reason on the first patch cable that was made with this tool I was concern, because it seemed to be too effortless when crimping. It passed and I was amazed that it did. With ITBEBE all my crimps as of now had passed 100% on the first onetime crimp and zero repeats, sweet. Time will tell, and yes I will update this review if this changes. I have not used the different cutters that are available on this RJ crimper or on any other ones, for this reason cannot review or compare the different cutters . Two reasons, I use 3-piece cat6 connectors and use electrical scissors, which to me is easier, more comfortable, and faster than to any crimper's cutters. Regarding the ratcheting action, it seems to be good. LOL, do like the sound of it. Have been using RJ11 and RJ45 crimpers since late 70s and again, this one from ITBEBE is the smoothest and requiring least amount of force than any other ones that I had owned. I never buy the same tool twice until the first one serves me well over time. This one is no exception, as of now I gave this RJ crimper a rating of five stars. All is good after 6 months, I will no doubt buy another one.

What can I say? They work perfectly. I think my favorite feature is the locking ratchet when stripping the casing. The first time stripping with a particular cable, just tighten 1 click at a time until you are at the right depth, then spin the tool around the cable. Any cable you need to strip after that is the same size, just tighten the proper number of clicks and spin. Easy-peasy. No more worrying about cutting too deep. It may seem like a little thing, but I think it is great. Makes my life much easier.

Very easy to use and well built. Only issue I’m having is after a couple of uses the blade that cuts off the excess wire is not doing so good. I’m having to cut excess off with cutters. The other caviat is if you use the stripping feature to remove the outer casing you have to be really careful as it will cut through to the wires as well. Just use the least amount of pressure and it works just fine.

I always buy expensive goods as I know expensive materials are always excellent and durable. This tool makes me think different. I make a few cables with this crimping tool very easy. Blade of this tool is sharp. I make over 50 patch cables in a very short time. The mechanism of the device makes easy to crimp. The regular tool makes your hand painful after few crimps but this ITBEBE tool mechanism may need your 50% less pressure to crimp.If you have any experience to make a rj45 connector with the cable, you will love this tool. This tool will crimp and trim excess wire same time. First, I untwisted the wires and make it straight to push through the connector. I also trim the head with this tool for easy pass-through. Once I push the cable in the pass-through connector to the out, I twist all pairs. I insert the connector to the crimping tool. I press and hold the connector all the way down and then crimp and wait 5 seconds. This tools did an excellent job. I saw all the excess wire was cut and make a perfect RJ45 patch cord.This tool has the option to make 6 pin connector and 8 pin connector. But I use only 8 pin connector. Since I get this tool, I am loving making patch cord. I bought this tool for only 40 dollars. I believe this tool is in the promotion. I want to say, buy this tool and give a try, you may love it.

I've spent a lot of hours terminating Cat5 and Cat6 cabling over the years with the old plier-style crimpers. The EZ-RJ45 connectors made life a bit easier, but trimming the wire ends was a trick. And there was still the possibility of a bad crimp.I'd seen the Platinum Tools crimper, but wasn't ready to shell out that kind of $ to test the concept for a shop tool. I found the ITEBE Crimping Tool and figured I could try it and add it to my own kit. This method is so much easier than the old way, but there is still a learning curve so the connecters punch down right and the wire ends trim properly. Make sure the connector is well seated, the cable is all the way in. I also found that if you keep it seated by tugging on the wire ends, they trim clean every time.

after reading about other crimpers, it appears this was the best of the bunch. I am wiring my home with 23awg cat6 cable, and this crimper, paired with the pass-thru jacks seemed like the best option.so I finished the job, and this crimper got me through without any issue. I did about 25 rj45 jacks, never had a problem. It does take quite a bit of force to fully crimp the connector and cut off the excess wires, and once in a while it will leave a wire hanging, but it's easy enough to break any remainder off. Not a problem in my opinion.5 stars, the tool does what is says, is easy to use, and has the wiring layout on the tool.

Tool is perfect. Working like a charm.Only issue was the packaging was not nice. It arrived in an unsealed envelope and package in the envelope was also opened. But no missing pieces or no damage on the tool .

OMG, if you do any amount of data wiring YOU WILL LOVE EZ RJ45!!!!!No more guesswork, super easy to use.Having said that the crimper is of good quality and has performed flawlessly so far. I have had it for several months and have done dozens and dozens of data cables and I did not have to redo a single one. Perfect every time.I do not like the wire stripper on the unit but other than that this has saved me so much time and aggravation.I would have taken off a star for the bad wire stripper but I love it too much and I like my wire stripper better anyway.If you are curious as to the problem, I have found that most times the stripper will cut into the twisted pair wires when trying to remove only the outer shell. I have not used it on anything other than RJ45.
