Product looked great and appeared to be well made. Not sure if the manufacturing spec was a little off on hub, or my axle but, hub did not want to go on axle without having to be forced with a mallet, which I did not do.

I ordered this hub to replace an oem one that had failed due to a hub needle bearing failure under the watch of the previous owner. At first I noticed the snap ring was made of something with no temper, it would just bend and stay there, no spring, but other than a snugger fit on the splines than the oem it seemed to fit and function. 6 months later with really minimal use, no real 4wd use other than some testing while I repaired the rest of the vacuum system I noticed only on of my hubs had released. I locked and unlocked them rolled the vehicle around a bunch turned you name it to no avail, the hub was locked on, would no longer hold vacuum and would not release no mater what. at this point I decided I was getting manual hubs. This hub was so hard to remove I had to partially dissemble it from the outside, drill a hole through it and use a bolt for something to pry against while tapping the end of the axle shaft. the oem? came off by hand. Do yourself a favor and buy a real one.

Installation was a breeze. Less than 5 minutes to do.

Bought 2 at the same time to rebuild the axle on my F250.Used these along with 2 wheel hub bearings from Detroit axle.Did my drivers side and everything went smooth.Following day I did the passenger side, went good until I went to install the the locking hub and it would not. With the old bearing out I tried the new new hub in it and it fit fine. Put the old hub locker into the new wheel bearing and it fit fine.New hub and new locker didnt want to work with each other.Put the old hub back in and went on with life for now.Its past my 30day return window or else I would have returned it. Now it's a dust collector.1 worked fine 1 did not work in conjunction with other new parts.

Very easy to install,(using rubber mallet). The ring is a challenge, it works after few hits with the flat screw driver.

Fitted easy, looks to be a good fit for my vehicle.
