This product does a great job protecting the boot soles.
This product does a great job protecting the boot soles. It also makes walking easier and the ice claws keep you from falling on the ice. Carry a small pry tool to move the ice claws from one position to another. I can't operate it with my finger alone.

Comfort and ease of use
I am a ski instructor and want to protect the bottom of my expensive ski boots. Because of covid-19 all instructors at our mountain has had to use our cars as our locker room, which means walking on asphalt. Walking in the skikooty is easier as the curved bottom you roll through the step. The rubbery material also gives a cushioning to the step.My only problem is getting it adjusted to my small boot size (23.5). They are adjustable añd need to be readjusted after wearing a few weeks of break-in. They areuch easier to get on and off than other brands I've used. I like the ability to use the spikes on those icey walkways and parking lots and then flip them away when not needed.

Earlier model, difficult to use
These are the earlier model -- the manufacturer revised the product to both make it more durable and easier to get on and off. When the spikes are in the grip position (not retracted), the holes into which the spikes fit in the retracted position (as needed in a pocket so that the spikes do not damage the fabric of the pocket) fill with snow making it difficult or impossible to retract. The finger "slot" to allow the spike loop to rotate from grip to retract is not feasible -- I need to use a small flat blade screwdriver to do this, not a practical tool when skiing. I have used the later model without the spikes -- these are better than others I have tried. However, without spikes, none of these work on ice, and thus I bought these. Unfortunately, these are very difficult to use.

Easy to walk in
They work well. I need a small backpack to store them while skiing. They are too bulky to put in a large inner pocket in my jacket. They are difficult to get on and off at first but after a few times it gets easier. I put the toe piece on first, then one side of the back up a little, then the other side of the back up a little, then pull up the back tab.

Worth it if you walk at all in ski boots
Never will I waste money on the cat tracks brand of ski boot sole covers again! Skis kooky is easy to walk in, they stay on the boots and are much more durable. Walking across slippery concrete or tile was not a problem.

A piece of junk.
I am a ski instructor. I purchased These a little more than a month ago. And they have now fallen apart. Don’t buy them. Don’t waste your money.

Bad materials but great product.
Love the product for how it helps walking in ski boots on walkways and concrete. However, the rubber is very soft a broke within two uses. The rubber is just too soft to hold up.
