So much nicer than I expected. It's a very simplistic design but costume shops can certainly botch a cape with shoddy construction and poor material choices. This has a pretty lux feel about it, I didn't notice any defects in the stitching and while I would have personally liked it lined with something silky I loved the current price point for what I received. I couldn't have purchased that fabric, a pattern and sewn it myself for the same price so I have no complaints. My toddler loves it, it's the perfect accessory for her halloween costume and she's already enjoying wearing it around the house so depending on how it handles some love in the next few months, I may wind up ordering a second one. My only every so slight critique is that the hook and eye closure is a little small for her to manage but I'm just replacing it with an easier, decorative toggle closure so even that isn't a real problem - just be aware. Also I wouldn't let your child play with this unsupervised - I didn't really notice any safety features and while I seriously doubt that clasp would hold if her cape snagged and started choking her, it is something to be aware of. Best safe than sorry. Still, Would highly recommend and will order again if it's torn or stained.

If you need a short, soft, cape but you're an adult.. this style of cape will work for you too! (Eh, you might not want to latch it if you are a man with a really thick neck- but that could be adjusted) I ordered this to go over a tutu for a Halloween costume and it is perfect! Great quality for a great price!! I am 5'5 130 lbs and the cape latches around my neck comfortably.

Perfect for dress up and Halloween. Good material and made well. Fits my 3 and 4 yr old perfectly now, and they can continue to use these even as they grow. These are a fantastic addition to our costume trunk, so pleased! Highly recommend!

My kids love these cloaks, but the hook closures used are terrible. I've had to sew them back on several times. They have an open side so they just unhook themselves from the thread and fall off. One of them lost the clasp today and I have a very unhappy 7 year old that can't wear her cloak until I find a replacement hook and loop.

We bought this for my daughter, who had a vampire thing going for Halloween. The color just happened to match the color of some of her other clothes. It was perfect... decent quality and she was very happy with it. She still sometimes pulls it out and wears it around the house when she plays.

Got the yellow one for my 7year old. She dressed as belle from beauty and the beast. This fit just right and kept her a little warmer for Halloween.

This Cape is great. It's not wrinkled or linty. It doesnt gre static. It's the perfect length for my 50 lb. 50" daughter. It has a snap button for the clasp which I like vs velcro. We are going to use it for her little red riding hood costume. I washed and dried it without any problems.

Super cute cape. Got for renaissance faire. Pretty gold/yellow color. Very thin material - only for looks. Do not expect any warmth from this whatsoever. Took off star because brand label is sewn on outside of the cape. I had to take it off.
