I purchased this unit last year when my mother began having problems walking. I liked the features of the auto fall detection and the ability to call the unit and speak to her. On July 5th, 2018 my mother fell in her kitchen and the unit did not detect the fall. She laid on the floor for hours trying to push any button and could not get the unit to activate and send me the emergency alert. The Center button must be held down for 3 seconds and it is not easy for someone with limited hand strength, especially when they are already incapacitated and lying on the floor. When I called the company and requested a refund they told me that they ONLY refund within 14 days of Purchase. That is BS, no one will be able to successfully test this unit in that amount of time.

After doing a lot of research on fall alarms, (I'm 84, and am a bit unstable on my feet.), I decided the LiveLifealarm was the absolute best. It is the most reliable, easy to program and use, 911 calls can be cancelled if it is a false alarm, and it can be used to call nearby friends for help instead of calling 911. This alarm is actually a cell phone in itself, having it's own phone number, and can be programmed with six phone numbers of people you would like to call in case of a fall or emergency. The fall sensor will send a text to your friends, and calls 911. It gives you a chance to cancel the calls if it is a false alarm. Sensitivity can be programed.There is only a small annual charge for the cell phone, ($48.). It is rechargeable, mine lasts about 5or six days before needing a charge overnight. If you're going to get a fall alarm, get the best. It could mean your life.

Only issue we had was the device was receiving spam calls, but after they turned on spam protection all is well.

We ordered this device for my MIL. We like that it has the option to calls us instead of 911 if she needs help and presses the button. We have tested it and so far it works well. It gives us peace of mind that if she were to fall she could teach us immediately.

My elderly mother was concerned about falling and not being able to call for help. I did some research and found the Livelife product seemed to be the answer to the situation at an affordable price. It works like advertised and is user friendly.

This item works well, when it slipped out of my hand and hit a carpeted floor it sent an alert to my son. He called me back within 2 min. asking me if I was okay.I would recommend it to a friend.
