This thing is the bee's knees.. Or should I say, the dog's logs.. sturdy, efficient, does what it's suppose to... I read reviews about it being heavy, and/or the spot weld on the scooper not holding up.. But that really depends on the weight of said logs you try to lug.. a solid layers worth seems to do just fine.. Equal to a half a pound or so, estimate based on what I would think a half a bag of sugar weighs.. perhaps an ill comparison, with added water retention and that dog logs just aren't as appealing as a half a bag of sugar.. I gave it 4 stars on durability because the extend-o-handle of the rake doesn't seem to screw tight on the rake, but 5 stars overall because it's counterpart makes up for it.. big logs, wet logs, sticky logs, no problem.. rinse it off in a puddle and it's good to go... I've used this a half a dozen times so far for the "spring cleanup" of a 170 lb dog... And this is by far the best tool I've come across. Buy it.

I ordered this in March and the scoop recently broke. I left it outside and it rusted a bit, we’ve had a lot of rain. The handle attaches to the scoop with a u shaped piece of steel with flanges that seem to be welded to the scoop. That has worn and it separated. It may also be me tilting it a bit to angle the scoop to get a mushy one. My husband it going to try repairing it by reattaching the flanges with small screws.Otherwise I was very happy with it. I had to tighten the adjustment before each use, it gets a teensybit loose and handles pop down.Its a good length 44 inHolds a good bit of poopThe little rake is great

I bought 3 of the large scoopers for our dog rescue facility, Saving Grace in Raleigh, NC. We have approximately 100 dogs of all sizes on about 7 acres of land. (we adopted out over 2,200 dogs last year) The dogs generate a lot of poop, and our volunteers scoop it several times a day. The aluminum scoopers we used to use last a week or two. We learned to reinforce them with additional screws and they last a month or two. We have been using the three, Little Stinker scoopers for over a month and they look like new (except for the poop smears). I bought 3 more of the small ones and have put them in service as well. I think we finally found a scooper that lasts!

We have two medium sized dogs, so our small backyard turns into a field of landmines pretty quickly. The unpleasant task of cleaning up after them was made so much easier when we bought this tool. The pan is big enough to hold lots of droppings before you need to empty it, and the rake is extremely effective of pulling the poop out of the grass.The only problem we had happened when my nephew came to visit. He's a bit of a wild boy (aka: he's 7), and he really wanted to go pick up some poop for us. That seemed like a GREAT idea to me, so I let him have at it. Two minutes later, he comes in with the scoop pan in one hand and the pole in the other. I didn't see what happened, and I'm sure he was mistreating it. My husband was able to put a big screw through, and reattach it, and how it's stronger than it was when we got it. This malfunction was PROBABLY not a product failure, but I thought it was worth mentioning.Overall, this is way better than any other pooper scooper we've tried. Highly recommended!

I would have selected 1 star, but for some people I'm sure this would be a good fit. It definitely wasn't for us. It is SUPER heavy, but only from the pan. The handle /stick seems very flimsy, and the adjustable part is a piece of plastic that doesn't work right and very clearly would not survive being stored in my garage outside over winter even if it did - it was just too brittle and silly. The bucket is SO big, you'd have to dump into a wide mouth trash bag, so you couldn't carry a bucket with you. But it's so heavy that I can't imagine trying to lug it around full of poop. I was also unimpressed by the rake - the tines didn't seem to have much support (not like they will break - they seem to be metal. Just like they'd bend back slightly too much while scooping in grass and on rocks).We've been professional pet sitters for 13 years and have tried lots of different options. I was looking for something for poop scooping jobs (big rural yards) that could be used without bending over. This was the only one with a very long handle listed.I can see this working great for small dog kennels - like with concrete floors, and garbages strategically placed nearby. Or people with small yards that need to scoop every so often. But it wasn't for us. Back to the drawing board.

What can I say...it does it's job. It's gotten wet from rain (we forgot to bring it inside the garage when done) and no rust. It's sturdy but not so heavy to be burdensome. I'm glad I bought it...it's made a dirty yet necessary job easier. (We used to use a shovel...nearly backbreaking to get under the goods).

This is amazing and just what I needed to make dog-poo pick up easy. I've been using it for over two months and it seems sturdy and still works great. I love that the rake is separate so you can easily control where the poop goes and get it out of grass into the poop pan.We have a 35 pound dog and the scooper pan is big enough to hold 1-2 weeks worth of poop before I need to empty it, which makes poo pick up very fast.We previously had a one-handed poop picker up with a bag attached...it sucked.

This product works as you would expect. Its function is pretty straight forward after all. However, as with any telescoping design, it works well for a few uses and then starts to loosen up a bit. I'll deal with this issue for a bit more time, but I will be stabilizing this problem soon.

I was absolutely ecstatic when I finally decided to order this. For years now I’ve been bending over to pick up dog poop! I have two pugs and they both eat (and therefore poop) a Lot! My back was hurting and I’d get dizzy from bending up and down so often at once.This seemed like one of the more affordable ones so we picked it. I would have given it the extra stars except for the fact that the materials used, especially the rake are not the greatest. The rake is so light that we actually lost it in a bad wind storm recently. We looked everywhere and never found it so are now using a lawn rake instead. When this one is no longer usable, we will look at ordering another one although likely a different model/brand. If you live somewhere that doesn’t get really powerful winds, this one might work for you.As always, I was also happy at how quickly it arrived.

I absolutely love this. I don't find it too heavy at all. It's great for cleaning up after 2 big dogs. Sometimes the handle becomes loose on it's own but it's an easy fix just twist tight again. I left this out in the yard over the winter and there's no rust or signs of it breaking anytime soon. My last one (different company) broke in less than a year. It's just what I needed!

The scoop is very heavy and unwieldy. Very well made, though. I will probably buy the smaller version as well. Great if you are in good shape; not so great for an older woman due to the weight.

Great that it can be adjusted to certain length. I find the shovel part a little heavy but does the job of picking up really well

I found this much easier to use than other rake and scoops I've used. As a groomer I appreciate the convenience when cleaning up after larger pets
