the ANSWER
It looked cool enough. What a great idea! I am always fumbling with the headphones to my iPod when I have to take them off quickly and respond to someone interrupting me listening to a 24 minute Runaway Jim. "I couldn't hear you. I was listening to the most important thing I have ever heard when you came, saw my headphones on but asked a question anyway, knowing you'd force me to take my headphones off and you would have to repeat that question." And then I am involved in whatever this interloper has me doing, standing around with a thin cord and little earbuds of joy tangled in one hand. What am I supposed to do with this headphone cord?!? Wrap it around my hand and then loop the last bit of cord around the larger loop, tucking the end into a loose knot? NO! NO! NO! I will not do that. I refuse! I need a product to wrap the cord and keep it within 17 millimeters of my MP3 player. And I found this! And it works! It does exactly what they say! You have to start at the right point, but you can wrap the cord and perfectly fit the earbuds right in the rubber slots of the case! It's the ANSWER.Then...The interloper returns. I try to read his lips this time over a full cranked version of "Halleys Comet" form fall '97. I can't. So I angrily yank the cord from my waist so the earbuds POP out of my head simultaneously and disappear to my lap. Little does this jerk know I am diligently, blindly wrapping my headphones cord in a meticulous manner under the table, silently fitting plastic to rubber as the buds slip like fingers to glove on the back of the case. This guy asking about "Emergency evacuation plan" this and "Hazmat regulations" that has no idea that I have a perfectly wrapped iPod headphone cable, attached to it's mothers case like a baby kangaroo in her pouch. No clue.Don't be fooled by these wooks with their flashy colors and weird iPod cases and accessories, trying to sell xerox copies of actual ticket printouts. Get away from that trash right away. Get this thing and you're VIP, backstage and hanging on the bus.

DLO jam jackert
well first it fit my ipod 120 gig classic as advertized. i liked the fact that it did cover the click wheel without having to apply a sticky cover that i would screw up or have bubbles in. its black which is a plus for me and does have the headphone post on the back to wrap headphone cords around.i did not like the fact that it doesnt offer much in the way of screen protection so i would suggest a screen protector for it if thats your thing. the protection for the click wheel makes it a little harder to adjust volume/switch song/artist. however this is to be expected especially if your ipod is as old and as scratched up as mine(my ipod has been to 4 continents including combat zones). it doesnt offer as much protection as i would like, but for the price i paid i like it but dont love it.

4 stars, but nice skin
Alright,This cover is great, the good part is the feature for the cable and earphones management and that it has a cover over the wheel. The material looks and feels durable. When you buy it new it limits a little the wheels sensibility but once you use it for a couple of days it will adjust better, now i dont have any problem with that.I did not give 5 stars for one reason, dont get me wrong, i love the skin, but it does not have a screen cover (of course, since through the screen "whole" is where you get the ipod in) but it should have a feature to protect your screen.Anyways, the skin rocks for me, i like it and i feel for the price it is pretty good! I recommend it.

Works For Me
This product has a pretty snug fit on the 6th gen iPod Classic. I would assume the same for all iPod classic since they use the same frames. This product does not come with any kind of cover or protection for the iPod glass screen in case anyone was uncertain.Pros: Place to store your ear buds, additional protection for iPod, rubber allows for a better non-slip grip.Cons: The rubber over the scroll wheel to me was having a hard time allowing the scroll wheel to function. (I just took a razor blade and cut out the rubber circle that went over the scroll wheel)Other Thoughts: Purchase a screen protector and this case and you have the basics for additional iPod protection.I hope I provided an unbiased and helpful review. Good luck shopping and as always, have a great day.-CollegeGuy

mixed useage
With the iPod classic facing extinction in the next few weeks (at least the rumors and sales results indicate it will be) I picked up a 160GB 6th Generation revision 2 (commonly referred to as 7th gen). There are few options for acquiring a protective cases in 2014 for a product first made in 2009 , so I decided to pick up a pair of these DLO cases. The good: fits the iPod well. Offers some protection from scratches on the body (you will need a separate screen protector). Possible protection if dropped. Scroll wheel works well, peasant aesthetics. The not-so-good: The cord management is made to work with the original headphones , my newer style phones just don't fit or stay in place. Cord management almost doubles the thickness of the case (would be less of an issue if my headphones would fit). Enough protection to keep iPod from getting scratches thru daily use , but probably too thin to protect from being dropped. Not a bad case , just lacking some functionality for my needs.
