I was disappointed with this bed initially because only one end has a wood panel. I guess that's the end you're supposed to put against the wall. But I'm using it as a daybed, so both ends show. One star off because it would be better if both ends had wood.Other than that, I'm very pleased with this bed. Be warned, the box is very heavy. If you're a small person, you'll need to open the box and carry the pieces individually.Once you get it where you want it, it is super easy to assemble. I'm a small woman and I put it together in no more than 15 minutes with no help. The end pieces stand up without support. Slide in the cross bars. Then screw in three bolts at each corner. The bolts go in smoothly and all tools are included. Then lay the slats on top. Voila!Very sturdy and looks handsome in the room. My room has wood floors and Persian rugs and antiques, and I have to say, this modern-looking, inexpensive piece looks excellent. I didn't expect that.----Original review:Defective. The bed is supposed to have wood panels at both ends. Only one end has a wood panel. The other end is an empty frame. Total waste of time and money.

This is my second Zinus purchase, and again I am impressed. Not only is the frame well designed, well built, stylish and super easy to assemble; but the thought that goes into packing and prepping the customer is first class. The styrofoam packing is all in its own plastic bag; no mess. The wrench they provide makes assembly a breeze and is worth keeping. And the thoughtful touch of starting a few of the assembly screws for us to make it easier is a really nice touch.Buy this bed frame (or any other Zinus product), you’ll be impressed!

I don't write reviews usually but because I immensely benefited from reading reviews on this product, I am here to pay it forward :)Firstly, amazon offers for a $20 fee the option of the delivery person to come and drop this package right in a room of YOUR CHOICE! save your back and opt for this if you can! As others before me have noted, this box is heavy!Assembly: I highly suggest laying out all pieces and counting out all the screws and items listed from the pictures first. This way, you won't be surprised. I had all required elements necessary. Lay out the pieces in the right places where you will build this bed. Some people mentioned that with one person, it can be done but is better with 2 people. I do agree with that and I will add it was actually fun putting this together by myself. For the length (rail) and width portion to be screwed in together, it's helpful to lay out the wide bar down flat (horizontally) and hold the length/rail portion vertically. adding in the bolts in that position makes it much easier to handle while assembling alone.Quality: the bed is sturdy as expected from zinus. I own a twin zinus metal frame and this one is pretty similar, except that the queen bed has the center metal bar for added mattress support. Zinus beds last long from my experience so quality is definitely top-notch. I also found the price to be quite reasonable compared to other sites and brands.I believe some reviews mentioned squeaking? I haven't encountered this yet- fingers crossed. Just make sure to remove the sticker cover from the wooden slats before putting the mattress on. The sticker thing is supposed to help keep the mattresses in place.My only complaint so far (and it's not even a legit gripe) is that the beautiful color of the wood actually is a unique shade- I think I chose the "chestnut brown option". Hard to find furniture that matches that shade :) Besides that, it's a top notch bed with a great price.

I had reservations about buying this inexpensive frame. However, I am glad I did. This was easy enough that I could have done it by myself, but I had help from my tween.There is a small ratchet tool included in the kit. We found that convenient and I’m going to keep that for if/when I ever need to disassemble my frame.The screw holes lined up correctly. The rails are straight. The design is solid. There’s no wiggle. And the mattress support slats are very nice too. They Velcro into place along the frame. And once my mattress was in place, I gave it a good flop and found it solid!I have a Queen sized Purple HP3 mattress and it sits perfectly on the Queen size frame.I am pleased with this purchase!

It looks so nice in my room, and was the easiest thing to build ever. Its sturdy and comes with an additional grip for your mattress.

Have only used it for about 2 months, but it’s comfy and held up so far

Super easy to put together on my own, did not need help. Good quality metal and hardware, everything lined up perfectly. The wood accent works very well with my headboard I built. Love it! Exactly what I needed without spending a fortune! I even received beautiful thank you cards from the company.

Amazing frame for storage under bed in small space. Easy to ensemble. Totaly worth the price.
