How to make sinkers: 1. Ensure you are wearing protective clothing and all care must be taken when heating and pouring lead. 2. Put scrap lead into saucepan and heat until molten (lead will normally melt at 650 degrees). 3. Once lead is molten use a cooking spoon to take away any impurities that have risen to the top. 4. Take your coat hanger wire (wire is only used when making sinkers that require a hole in the centre) and place within the mould. 5. Using the tongs grab tour mould carefully and have the pouring cavity facing you. 6. Pour molten lead into mould until cavity is full. 7. It is recommended the mould be preheated before use. 8. Once mould has been heated up and your lesd is fully molten and clean you can proceed to pour the lead in to the cavity. 9. Wait 10 seconds and using pliers pull wire out then proceed to open mould. 10. Using your pliers snip the excess lead of the top of the sinkers. 11. Good luck and remember to always take care. 12.When disposing of unwanted lead please take note of your local authority about appropriate methods. Warning: 1. Lead is a toxic material 2. Use PPE when handing moulds 3. Use dry moulds as water can cause molten lead to explode

Better than expected.
Larger than I thought but keeping. Quarter in picture for size.No handle but that's OK.Going to buy a smaller one.

Warped beyond use! Returned!
The reviews are true, this mold is a waste of time and money. The one I got could only make 2 good shaped sinkers and 3 deformed due their lack to match flushed.

Mold was warped
Received my package and I immediately noticed that the flat pieces looked bent. unpacked them and placed them together and sure enough they were bent enough that there was about a 3/16" gap at the end. I deemed it unsafe and did not even attempt to pour lead. sent it back for a refund.

The media could not be loaded. thats Not closing well makes the lead come out of it , never buy it again
