"A Healing Process"
I gave this book a 5 because it was written well, had a strong story line, and evoked feelings. It definitely wasn't a passive read. I became angry at times and cried at others. It's not a romance that sugar coats everything, and it doesn't give you the basic romance story. The only way I can sum it up or describe it is by calling it a healing process. Through Blaize' s painful journey he has to love and forgive himself, he has to allow others to love him, and he has forgive and love others before he can move forward. There is some strong subject content in this particular book that is uncomfortable to read, but it's necessary to read through it. There are layers to Blaize, Jane, and Robert, and as those layers are peeled away it all makes sense.I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first which I usually do because I would have hated for others to have spoiled parts of the story for me. We all have our opinions but if you have already read some of the books in the House of Pleasure series don't leave this one out.It is a must read and you're introduced to other characters and their story lines who appear in some of the other books, and who end up getting their own books in the series.

terrible hero!!!
I can't stand mishom! Not once in this entire book did I like him, and I felt like he didn't do a single thing to redeem himself to Jane, I don't understand why she took him back! I couldn't even like Jane, because she put up with him, it made me feel like she had no self respect. The only reason this got 2 stars is because of David and Robert, I thought there love story was way better then Mishom and janes, and at least Robert had a better reason for staying with Mishom, because I honestly can't understand why Jane did. I can't remember the last time I was this unhappy with a hero! I've read the whole house off pleasure series, and you don't have to read this one to continue on with the other books, Jane doesn't show up at all and Mishom shows up once in the rest of the series. All the other books are worth reading again, this one is definitely not!!!

Simply Wonderful!
Wonderful! Kate Pearce has written a truly unique erotic romance. Simply Insatiable is in my mind even better than my favorite in her "Simply" series so far, Simply Sexual. Lord and Lady Minshom-Blaize and Jane-have been separated for 7 years. During this time, Blaize has only been with men, preferring to stay in control of his emotions and take on pain he believes he deserves although the love and lust he feels for Jane has never gone away. The beginning of the book starts with Jane reappearing back in Blaize's life determined to make him accept her back in his life. Their relationship is wonderfully nuanced. They bicker like an old married couple but the passion between them is intense. I absolutely adored Jane. She is such an unusual perfect heroine. Cool, clever, animated, sexually adventurous, and madly devoted to her husband. She is his redeemer and it really works. Typically I don't like stories where the couple already has a past but here it's beautiful. As the story unfolds and what happened in their past revealed, the romance becomes even more tender and heartfelt.

I was ready to hate him..
Lord Minshom is a horrible horrible man. His character in previous books lead me to believe he was evil incarnate. This is the book that tells the reader how and why he is the man he is. By far the best book in the series. So many ups and downs in the story as Minshom comes to terms with who he is and why. Beautifully written, I laughed, I cried., and laughed again.

simply insatiable
I did not like this book at all took me weeks to finish it I would give her 4 or 5 stars if you were not supposed to believe that the men also loved the women they were involed with. I thought that Blaize was so cruel to his male lovers plus his wife. His wife Jane and he had been seperated for years due to loss of their child .She comes back to him to try and get pregnant. That is the last thing he wants. In the past she has had to watch he and other men have sex even his valet is gay.. I do not see where other readers think that the men and women in her books have a HEA because in her next books they ate back in the Pleasure house with the other male. In this supposely HEA here he tells her maybe his lover can do both of them when he comes. At least she got what she wanted from him at the end.

I say READ IT
I decided to read this book, which I skipped the first time I went through the series, AND I AM GLAD I DID READ IT. I had read the reviews and let the bad reviews steer me away from the book.Kate Pearce does not pull any punches and puts it all right out there. If non-traditional sex bothers you, why are you reading her books in the first place? The sexual content of this book is not that different than the others in the series. The situations and storyline in which the sex takes place are what make it hard to read. And it should be hard to read! Life can be awful and hard.I found my self saying, "Oh my God!" on more than one occasion and not because of the sex, but because of the deep emotional stuff she was willing to write about. Love, betrayal, abuse, redemption, forgiving the unforgivable....survival.....sure her books have steamy and what could be called deviant sex in them, but there is so much more to the stories. There were characters in this book that needed their stories told and I am glad she did. I have never written a Kindle review before, but had to put my two cents in. If you have read the other books, read this one. It is not an easy read by any means, but it is worth it.You may need some down time afterward, and snickers. I am still saying, OMGosh in my head.

Enjoyable read
I know some didnt like Lord Minshom's story.. seemed like such a BXXtard.. and some parts was silly.. Like how he just let his anger go for his father... was just to easy..but on the whole I loved this novel.. was sizzlingly hot.. not to every taste i guess...

and I mean that in the best way possible
This is quality written porn for women, and I mean that in the best way possible. Good sex, good story, top marks. Warmly recommend it if you want something to get you going but bad writing style puts you off - my case.

Hot and steamy at a new level
I simply loved this book! It is a heady mixture of various sexual experiences of the main characters while they struggle to overcome their past. I don't want to give spoilers. The book surprised me with its intensity and I could not put it down.
