Non-Detergent Laundry Ball, Eco-Friendly, Non Chemical, Natural Alternative Washing Machine Ball

I stumbled across this some time ago. Decided to test it out its been a year and I LOVE IT. I have to deal with detergent spots, or running out and is this going to irritate my skin. I would say the scent is mild comes out with the fresh scent but its faint. My clothes come out clean and not worn down or spots from the detergent. Great find and highly recommended. Like the box says good for 1000 loads, charge in the sun for a hour after 20 loads. Put it on rinse and spin. Not only do I save money on detergent but cutting back on water usage and time saver.

The balls are not scented and they don't scent the laundry. They do a good cleanup of daily laundry, but clothing with tougher stains needs special attention. I've found the balls are very economical overall. I find it difficult to determine exactly when a ball needs to be replaced, so I will companion the aging ball with a new one, just to be sure.

So far so good using this to wash the clothes I just have to remind myself to take it out and let it dry I have also found myself grabbing the load of laundry and throwing it all in the dryer . They close haven't come out stinky but they smell good I like the fact that I don't have to throw laundry soap in and I know I'm saving money. My next goal is to try it on my husband's work clothes to see if it gets it clean and doesn't smell like tires. If you don't have a lot of clothes in the washing machine it does bounce around and it is loud and if you have plenty of clothes it's hardly noticeable.

I bought my first laundry ball at the state fair (I'm a sucker for "it slices it dices" stuff) in August 2014. I will never go back to washing my clothes with detergent! It's just 2 of us in our household, but it has lasted this whole time. 3-4 loads a week. It is still usable but we are starting to see the minerals through the holes and we want to save the rest of our first ball for taking with us in our RV (no messy soap to inevitably leak all over everything!). I highly recommend this product. I was skeptical at first but my clothes come out so clean and fresh and my high efficiency front load washer rarely smells anymore. It used to start smelling if you left the clothes in there for an hour after it was done (and yes I regularly clean my HE washer) but now if I forget them in there overnight I can just toss them in the dryer and they don't smell musty!

I have been using the ball for almost 2 months. I have a family of 8 so it has been tested. My clothes come out smelling clean from the wash I put it directly into the dryer and they are soft and clean. If you want you clothes smelling like fake rain showers and flowers while this isn’t for you. Also, remember to recharge by putting in the sun. I try to get it outside every couple of weeks just to be sure it’s good. Yes, you will need to pretreat if you have a bad stain but I don’t always and my messy kids clothes still come out looking clean and best of all I am not putting harmful chemicals on there skin! Love it!! Buying another for days I am charging the other.

I bought this product thinking I could use it for any of my laundry washes but no: it's only for cold water wash. Also, when I used it, I didn't see any difference in the softness of my cloths, with or without this laundry ball. I ended up throwing it in the garbage.

I am in the process of ridding my house of toxic chemicals. The laundry seemed the best place to rid our clothes of those chemicals. This works perfect, so far I haven't had any issues with something not getting clean. I have a top loading HE washer. I spoke with the company concerning the top loading HE washer and was assured it would work fine. It does. Will never go back to chemicals to clean my clothes.I also use wool dryer balls instead of fabric softener, nice and soft and no chemical smell in my clothes.

We've been using this laundry ball for at least 7 or 8 years now. Got introduced to it at a Green Living Show while living in Toronto, Canada. Bought it for years through a distributor. Even gave it as a gift and people loved it! So pleased we could buy it on Amazon after moving back to the States. This product has NO scent and totally cleans our clothes. They used to make a stain stick that was fabulous, too - got all kinds of stuff out with just water and few rubs of the stain stick. If you want to be kinder to the environment and have really clean clothes that don't get beat up by all the harsh detergents, highly recommend this product. Ditch your detergent!
