Sterilite 12158006 Ultra Laundry Basket, White with Titanium Handles

What can I say? It's a laundry basket. I was a bit nervous buying a laundry basket online, so I stuck with what I knew. I had a very similar basket to this one before (it was the slightly curved version) and it had always been a great laundry basket so I thought I would give this one a shot. It is a bit more expensive than other laundry baskets, but there is a reason for that. It is made of hard plastic, not the cheap flimsy plastic most cheaper ones are made of. Also, this is a perfect size for people that do a lot of laundry, or don't do laundry as frequently. About two full loads of laundry fit into the basket. Most laundry baskets are smaller, and I knew I didn't want a smaller one. The only SLIGHTEST complaint would be that, yes, the handles do pop off if you are careless with the basket. My mother had this same basket and one of hers came off. However, let's be real here - is it that big of a deal? You can still hold the basket perfectly fine. It doesn't affect its usage whatsoever. It's really just a cosmetic issue. But that is a stretch. Mine have not ever came off, so I really wouldn't worry about it. Unless you're throwing it out of a 3 story window or pushing it down some stairs...... it's gonna hold up. This is one of those cases where it is definitely worth spending a little extra for something nice.

I ordered 3 of these baskets and I expected them to be in perfect shape. They came separately packaged in flimsy and ripped plastic coverings, as opposed to a box. 2 of the baskets were fine, but one arrived in such bad condition it couldn't be used. 3 of the handles were broken off completely, whilst 8 or so major cracks were all around it.For the 2 working baskets, they do their job and seem sturdy enough, but who knows.If you decide to purchase these baskets anyway, be mindful of their durability and shipping arrangement.

My husband and I just orderd this Sterilite Ultra Laundry Basket wtih Titanium Handles from Amazon for our home. Took about 5-7 days to reach us from the time of ordering.We have one of these baskets already - got it at Target I believe about 5-6 years ago. Instead of trying to pile 50 lbs of laundry into one basket week after week, we finally decided the smart thing to do was have a second basket to make things easier. Lighten the load and all. It has worked wonders.The plus of this basket is that is it really well made and heavily constructed in terms of durality and strength. Many baskets we have had in the past are poorly built and in time, crack, weaken and bust one way or another. This one holds up well and does the job as advertised. There are four handles - one on each side which makes it easy to maneouver and manage going up and down stairs and around corners. The white and grey color is simple and works well in any home.For the price and quality, definately order this basket. It doesn't take away the drugery of doing weekly laundry, but it makes getting to and from alot easier.

Yeah, its a laundry basket. Its not too big to carry comfortably, and not so small that you'd feel your wasting your time. Fill this basket and you've got just about a perfect load of laundry, depending on the size of your washer. I slightly overfill and its a perfect wash for the machines I use.I use a laundromat, so this thing hauls a week's worth of laundry easily and without cracking/bending or otherwise behaving as if carrying clothes was a problem for it. Good quality construction stands up to my clothes, my lumping it up and down stairs, and throwing it in my trunk. Very pleased with this basket.Recommended.

We ordered two laundry baskets. They were "lost" in shipment. When they finally arrived, they were dirty.

Seems like I am always going up and down the stairs with laundry. I love have four handles on the basket. Holds a lot. Would even be nice for picking up toys at the end of the day.
