Issues: Sometimes the Adapter doesn't show its connected, It happens randomly when the my MacBook goes into sleep mode. I would unplug the adapter and then plug it back in and it would still not give me video or connection notification. Only Solution that I finds works, is to power cycle the MacBook and then it would work again. Also the HDMI cable does make a difference, I have tested this with 4 different HDMI cables; a Sony cables, an HDMI Cable that come with my Nintendo Switch a MonoPrice cable and AmazonBasic Cable... All the cables worked except the Sony, its the same cable I ran with my XboxOne and I know it works but for some reason it would never work with this adapter.I've also tested my friends Apple official adapter and have found that I can't duplicate the issue so I am leaning more toward a fault in the adapter rather then blame it on the OS. The Adapter does work but I have to keep the MacBook from entering sleep mode, and it was cheap enough that I don't mind keeping it but the next time I need an adapter for this purpose of mirroring or extending a display to an external TV or Monitor I will choose a more reputable company like Cable Matters, Monoprice, or even AmazonBasics

For the price this stand is amazing. I did have an issue with the ball joint not being stiff enough to hold a medium sized Halloween projector. I was able to open it up and add a layer of superglue to the ball socket. When dried this gave enough friction and closed up the gap for movement to work better.

This adapter is necessary for anyone using a Microsoft Suface or Macbook to conduct presentations using HDMI as standard HDMI cords do not fut these devices. It is simple to use and fitss well into the device and standard HDMI cord.

Perfect for iRulu DLP projector

The price is a steal however this did not hold up for my Canon G7x. The ball joint became very loose just after a few uses and it will no longer hold my camera upright. It may work for stationary shooting if left on a surface, however I need something to use as a grip for on the go shooting. This just wasn't sturdy enough. I went with the more expensive popular model and that has worked perfectly.

These cables are absolutely essential if you want to send video or show PowerPoints from your Surface or many other computers on large screen televisions and many monitors. This one works perfectly!

Its okay but its not the best, wont really hold its position even when you tighten the ball.
