Bought these in January 2015, stored indoors in my tool bag. I had used a few here and there. Now in May 2015, I went to use a few more and when I went to use them, just pulling them tight (no where near the 50 lb strength they claim), they snap apart. Thinking maybe I just had a bum one, I tried again. 10 in a row all snapped apart when trying to tighten, so I gave up and came here to order some better ones.I went back to check where I had used these ties previously and found that I was able to snap them right apart with almost no effort at all. Fortunately I discovered this before it resulted in any other problems. In the trash these go. Total junk.

Snug wrap
Works fine. I wish I had ordered in 2 additional sizes. I find that I could easily use longer straps in many applications. They do keep things snug.
