Easy to clean, does the job quite nicely. Competitively priced. What's not to like. It is also just the right size for this family of three. If you have a larger family or want to cook roasts in excess of like 3lbs you might want to get a larger diameter one, otherwise this is not a product to pass up.

Good quality and works well. Good for making dinner for 3 or 4 with a really good price. I love Amazon because they price match everything. You won't find a better deal for the quality. Black does show scratches.

Crockpots have become pretty complex I guess with automatic stirrers and multiple settings and such. I prefer simple and that's this crockpot. I have only used it a few times, but it does the job at a great price.

I am able to leave to work to cook beans and meat, doesn't seem to be a problem leaving it on low. It's exactly what I expect from a small crockpot. My SO and I make meat once a week in this baby and we're able to have dinner for about 3-4 nights. I haven't had any trouble with it boiling over, but I only use it for beef, chicken, and beans. We did make a soup in this once, seemed alright.If I could afford it, I'd get the one with the timer. But this does great for now, especially since I'm a student and my schedule is pretty constant.

This particular crockpot was much too hot. The only options are high and low. Low will have any liquid boiling furiously. I purchased this product for a simmer. The price was good, the size was right, everything was as advertised, except for the part where low really means high and high is off the charts hot. If you would like your food to be at something less then a fierce boil, do not buy this product. If for some reason you really didn't need anything less than 300°, this could actually be a good purchase for you. (Not everyone seems to have this complaint, so it may just be a question of rolling the dice and seeing whether you get one of the bad machines.)
