Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo for Damaged & Color-Treated Hair

I bought this from amazon as the seller and it is definitely authentic pureology. My hair is naturally curly, which I straighten every day and I also have highlighted as well as colored. After the last highlighting session, my hair was extremely dry despite my normal routine and products. I bought this shampoo along with the conditioner and literally worked wonders after the very first use! My dry ends were no longer noticeable and I couldn't even feel them when touching my hair! I've only used it about 5 times so far and my hair is completely soft and not frizzy and dry like it was before. Amazing product. I will also say that I have not used phrenology or redone shampoos and conditioners (but have used styling products) for several years now because they used to irritate my scalp (I have psoriatic arthritis), but I am glad I gave it a try because it is not irritating my scalp at all, which is very surprising to me. The duo has a very light scent, almost not discernible.

love this stuff and i’ll never live without it. it’s very pricey but once you use it you won’t mind that it’s so expensive ....my hair shines and smells so good after just one use it’s so good for my hair and i have so many highlights that my hair is very over processed, and for conditioner matrix brass off is the best, i only use the best products when it comes to my hair, i might skimp on a lot of things but never my hair. If you have blonde hair, i suggest miracle leave in it’s a 10 for blondes, omg that stuff is amazing. as for this product i highly recommend getting it

i was using matrix shampoos which i've always loved & doing my hair at home wmatrix lightners. but matrix changed their products year or so ago & every one i bought dried my hair out time & again & the conditioners weren't working as well the millk was crap too. but matrix shampo have worked for my husband's hair (when he had no color on his hair but for mine - oh vey - and when i started getting fly aways & i've never ever ever had fly aways before i tried alll differnt products. got this recently & omg the best shampoo ever. i tried pureology blonde shampoo but no didn't work. i have very thick hair too & this helps keep it not soo volumized. really good stuff lathers great. i use it every day. hubby tried this & loves it too as he has gray hair but just put a platinum color on it for 1st time (color silk color) & w/ this shampoo it worked great on his hair.

This is my first time purchasig sulfate free shampoo and boy am I hooked I’m so glad I picked pureology after the first wash I could feel in the shower my hair was stronger and had less knots which is a new and fantastic thing for me. I have chemically treated( but letting it grow out) hair, it’s straight/wavy and very very dry. All I can say r good things about this product! If ur looking for a new shampoo and it feels like nothing’s worked for u I’d give this a shot. A little goes a long way so the price is worth it to me.

Let me start by saying that I have tried MANY different types/brands of shampoos over the last few years.This shampoo is one of the best that I have tried so far. I was using the sheer version of this shampoo, but I noticed my hair just was not looking the best still. I am allergic to sulfates and have limited options with sulfate free shampoos due to their other ingredients causing allergic reactions. Basically I am allergic to just about every chemical manufacturers put in shampoos now a days. Within the first couple uses of this shampoo, my hair feels and looks healthier and is stronger. Bonus? No allergy issues yet! It's also vegan! I removed one star for the smell while using it. This line has a different smell for each shampoo and I'm just not the fan of this one. It's rather heavy smelling when using it, but it quickly fades when dry to a nice, subtle scent. Many sulfate free shampoos left my hair feeling like it had a film or was not clean afterwards: this is not a problem with this shampoo. Another bonus with this line: many sulfate shampoos made my naturally dark hair look dull/dry. Now my hair looks shiny and healthy again!

Good buy. If I would have bought this duo from my local salon store like bubbles or ultra they would cost be about $30 per bottle but I saved money and I also saved my hair. This has healed my after drastically after bleaching, coloring, and heat from curling from when I got my hair done at the salon. This shampoo and conditioner is amazing. My hair no longer feels rough and fried, it's soft and getting strong again just after using this twice. I can def see the difference right away. A little goes a long way and both shampoo and conditioner (which is rare) lathers up in throughout your hair with just a small amount. So happy and please. Will buy again when I run out.

Love everything about these products! Clean hair, low waste, no residue left…

I really wanted to love this shampoo because it's not only sulfate free but cruelty free as well. I consider myself pretty tolerant of scents but this shampoo smells absolutely disgusting. It's reminiscent of that scent your doll had when you were a little kid mixed in with scents from a city bus. No joke. Luckily, the scent washes out.It's surprising since I used a friend's Pureology on a recent trip and LOVED the scent. I'll have to find that one.

I struggled rationing the price of these products until my hair stylist friend pointed out a few things.First being that although these are small bottles, they’re a concentrated formula! A little goes a long way. She said there were about forty washes give or take a few in each of these bottles. The price per wash isn’t no $.01-.05 like drugstore shampoo, but oh is this ever worth it!I feel like I just got a haircut EVERYTIME I shower. It makes my hair feel smooth and full; and it makes it look ever bouncy and healthy. I’m not one to usually notice beauty or hair products going to work and making changes, but this is completely different.My friend also helped me decide to make the purchase by pointing out that I spend hundreds of dollars a year maintaining my blonde. Why don’t I wanna invest the extra dollar each wash, if it means I need less breakage, more inches, less salon visits, and I just have all around healthier, happier hair? Half of having coloured or bleached hair is the work you do OUTSIDE of the salon. Because I am able to right now, I decided to splurge and boy was it worth it. Definitely recommend.

My hair was ruined by a hairdresser when I was travelling abroad - she left the bleach on too long and the lengths of my hair literally just fell off. I now have about half the amount of hair I used to - it is thinner and shorter with broken strands all over the place. I had curls before but she destroyed them and it is just a lump of frizz.I'm really trying to look after my hair and get it back in good health - this shampoo cleans the hair but without feeling harsh and drying - I have been leaving it 3/4 days without washing to help my hair and it can be quite greasy on day 4 and this manages to wash all that away. It was shinier after the first use and I had a noticeable amount of curl definition back! (only a baby tiny bit but it has continued to increase over the weeks)I like that this product is sulphate free, it doesn't smell bad (can't describe the smell - it is just a clean floral artificial sort of smell - not of anything in particular. The shampoo comes out a light rose colour and lathers nicely to aid the washing!I'm now tempted to try the conditioner. I currently use Redken frizz dismiss.I know it is pretty expensive but if you like to invest in your hair, care about the companies and products you use then I think this is worth the price!
