Great to use, not flimsy quiet sturdy for the belt loop

These things are never long lived. So better a cheap replaceable bulk supplied one.
I need several small implements availabl for some jobs. A key, a torch, a measure, and wedge... I find these strong enough to hold one of them - clip a row on the strap of my crossbody kit carry all - but the stuff I need most is up front and ready. Use it - and it retracts away for next time.Brilliant

Perfect
Having now used the same one for months to carry both a till and door fob (lots of use) I can confirm that these things are excellent. Over the years i've tended to use the round metal ones which seem to break so easily. These have good durable thread and I've had no issue with the spring or mechanism yet. In fact I've handed all of mine out because I'm so secure in using the one I have and having a backup just in case.The movement is smooth, it retracts nicely and it doesn't droop under the weight of 2 cards in plastic holders.I do not think this would be good for more than 3-4 metal keys. Might struggle to hold more than 5.I don't like the plastic button holder, but the keyring is solid and the belt hook has a good grip that's easy to mount and wont slip off. You get at least 2 of each colour.

Good value for money
Good value for money. I issue them to new ambulance staff for their door passes, photo IDs, etc. So, they get v.regular everyday use and yet I get very few quality issues with them. Hence, repeat orders.
