Great product, just wish it was made from better materials for the price.

I received this product quickly and appreciated the quality of packaging. (The rubber glue holding the cardboard insert closed was beginning to loosen, but that’s not really an issue.) The device itself is lightweight but still adequately sturdy and the adjustable, removable, magnetic light is a nice addition compared to the endless lens kits that offer no flash or fill of any sort. The mediocre rating is the result of a couple of foreseeable and unforeseeable design consequences: For anyone who’s suspicious but curious, this must be used with only a phone skin; any case with camera protection (even a thin TPU style) will result in focusing problems as the lenses are not calibrated for the setup and presumably the ambient light which creeps in. Equally importantly, I found it very difficult to rotate the lenses on the iPhone XS without having to realign the RevolCam each time. The dialing mechanism is reliably solid, but does result in some shifting in use and is only feasible when shooting in landscape, with the lens resting on the top edge of the camera (this will depend on your model of phone and dual cam layout). The downsides of continuous pre-shot readjustment or post-shot editing to eliminate vignetting, soft edges, etc. overrides the multifunctional design for me in this situation. I imagine this would work best for people who use ultra, ultra slim, bevel-free cases and/or potentially use a phone with slightly increased thickness, non-rounded edges, and a less slippery (i.e. not glass) backing.

This ended up being a (then) 36$ piece of junk that they are now charging even more for here. I threw it out as the lenses produced blurry pictures that didn't "enhance" anything. Each lens I flipped to looked worse than the last. The clip attachment is terrible as it will cover up parts of your screen while not staying put very well and forget it if you put your phone in any type of protective case...Your phone's camera will produce better pictures. The only thing I kept was the detachable magnetic LED as it can actually serve a purpose while taking photos.Lastly, just so you are aware, there are still people who backed this thing that haven't received their product or a refund. They took the money from this Kickstarter campaign and created a slick 2.0 version and started another Kickstarter campaign. This Shiftcam 2.0 made about 130K and is just as cheaply made as this one. Before you waste your money, hit up Kickstarter and just cruise the comments section of either campaign... you'll see who you'd be giving your money to.

This convenient clip on lens is great to take artistic pics of just about anything. The travel/storage case is sturdy and the led light for taking selfies is amazing. It is fun to use for my 7yr old and I look forward to using it for my real estate business photos.
