Great in the right application.
These have nice color. What's important to know about them is that they don't radiate light in all directions - the product isn't advertised as doing so. These are great in my opinion for those outdoor lights. Most of the light does not go up into the sky. Less light pollution is a good thing!

I would recommend box of 4W (40W equivalent) along with these 10W ...
These are actually brighter than I anticipated. I'm blinded one it every time I walk down the stairs (it's at eye level when I open the door). Works well so after a couple months. I would recommend box of 4W (40W equivalent) along with these 10W (60W equivalent) and place as according to where you want more or less light.

It takes some time for it to switch on, it's not very bright, and obviously the light only comes from half the bulb. It would have been an excellent LED bulb 5 years ago but today it's pretty subpar.

they are ok...
Pro's: Bright and a nice color much like a standard bulb. Roughly the same size as an incandescent bulb, so they fit wherever a regular bulb gos (pretty important i think).Con's: There is a slight delay between flipping the switch and the bulb lighting up. The bigger bummer is they hum on a standard (non-dimmer) switch. The hum is faint but noticeable in a quiet room.

Great Bulbs
Very happy with these bulbs. Bright, but not harsh at all. Compares nicely with the old 60 watt incandescent bulbs that I have nearby. No delay in turning on. I will buy these again to replace other bulbs as they burn out.

Bright light, turns on quickly, and isn't painful on the eyes. Slowly replacing all my CFLs with these. Good value.

These bulbs are really nice..
These bulbs are really nice...efficient and the light is bright and pleasant. Would never go back to the old bulbs. Will not use CFL's due to mercury in them.

I have yet to be disappointed by any of the Sylvania or Phillips LED bulbs I have purchased and I LOVE the fact that these are available in a cool white light since most LED bulbs wind up being yellowish.
