I've been having a bit of trouble sleeping lately (lot of stress going on), which is very unlike my normal habits. So of course I was extra grouchy. I'd heard a lot of positive reviews about weighted blankets so after one really bad night, I looked at what Amazon had to offer. I chose this blanket because it had great reviews (that came through as mostly real on MetaReviewer), looked nicer, and would arrive faster than my backup option. I slept HORRIBLY the night before it arrived (a Friday). I was up before 7 am on a Saturday, which is at least 2 hours before I would normally get up. I had been trying to take a nap before this arrived and was really struggling. When it arrived, I immediately took it out of the packaging and added it to my blanket I was using for my nap. And I was OUT pretty shortly. It was possibly one of the best naps I've had. I added it to my bed that night (I got the twin size because my bf does not like extra blankets so it's only for my side of the bed) and have been sleeping pretty well. It is still taking me a bit longer than previously to fall asleep, but I'm doing much better at staying asleep once I get there. I don't know if I'm just getting used to it (and how to have it situated) or if it's the fact that it's only covering part of the bed, but I'm generally struggling with getting the blanket to cover me and not be sliding off my edge of the bed. The only time I've been waking up is when I am too hot because this is definitely warm! Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

I love this blanket. Very well made however the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of five is it is dry clean only and I have yet to find that anywhere in the description. I was not prepared for that so I had to buy a cover for it as well. It is an odd size so a Full/Queen was the only cover I could get it to work and that is slightly big. As for the purpose and use of the product itself I can say nothing but good things. I bought a second one even after knowing about the dry clean only so I had to like it enough then.

I’ve been shopping for a weighted blanket for over 6 months. The ORTIST is the BEST I’ve found. I especially liked the the smaller quilted squares too keep the beads better distubuted. The fabric is strong and the item is very well made. (The pattern reminds me of a CHANEL handbag). I ordered the gray, 15 pound twin size for a 5’2” tall 140 pound adult woman. The shipping was swif! She was delighted with it and is feeling extremely soothed and relaxed about sleeping now. I highly recommend the ORTIST Weighted Blanket. Im ordering one for myself too.

This idea seemed silly until you try it. OMG what a fabulous idea and the execution with this blanket is spot on. It is great for afternoon naps as it wraps you in a secure comfortable feeling. However at night it is too heavy for a top blanket, unless you are freezing cold. then it's perfect.

I have restless leg and this blanket has stopped. I got the 15lb one . I was,afraid it would make e feel held down I was wrong. Mine helps me to fall asleep. Wish it was In colors. And washavke but it really help me feel comfortable. Not to hit in fact if I want warmth out blanket over it.

Perfect size for a twin size bed. Blanket is really well made. No shifting of the sand in the pockets. Feels nice and heavy but it's also warm. I used to have 3 blankets on my bed but now I'm down to just this one. It's literally the only blanket I need.

Nothing I don’t like. I bought twin 15 lb. but I found my husband under it one day so I left it on him. But next day I laid it sideways across our queen size bed & now we both enjoy it.

I purchased this blanket after reading several positive reviews. The blanket is very well made and has improved the quality of my sleep. I would definitely purchase again!
