bought this for a acer aspire r5-571t-59dc laptop and yes, the screen fits but i dont know if the touch works because my cable was damaged. what i can say is that this display is much dimmer, and i can certainly say it might even be a whole other panel type. full brightness on the new screen is about 50% of what the old screen put out and there is this annoying black square in the center of the bottom bezel so this is like a universal fit but nothing a sticker cant fix. Mine was a pain in the ass to put in but my old laptop fell off a car so that didnt help. The value i dont know about either since you can get the exact screen for your laptop for the same price rather than this on size fits all. but it works, i have a screen again, and that's all that matters right?

Headline says it all really. No complaints. Too early to say about longevity and screen brightness seems fine but hard to be sure without a side by side test with the original. It brought back to life a laptop with a thoroughly smashed screen. One thing to note when buying is that there are a lot of much cheaper screens out there but they're not touch screens.....this is not always obvious in the description. Read carefully before selecting a screen. Fitting it was easy. The electrical connectors are small and a little fiddly. Take your time, carefully peel back the various adhesive tapes, do not pull on anything and don't force anything and you'll be fine.

My usual vendor was out of stock so I found this unit on Amazon at a fair price and NEXT DAY delivery. That is what hooked me. I am not happy about the very short warranty but I knew that when I purchased at least.What I am not happy with is the display's color rendering. The display's colors just are not vibrant, nothing compared to the original factory display. The colors are simply dull and very disappointing. I would not buy again! It will serve its purpose and I would not say that I am dissatisfied and I may be returning it.

Easy install, works pretty good, decent price... definitely not nearly as bright as the old screen... may upgrade to get the brightness back to original specs

The first unit had a bad pixel but the replacement was prefect. Couldn’t ask for a better replacement
