I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to assemble. No tools are needed, and a hex tightener was included, as well as a couple of spare screws and heads. I am an older woman and I am sure I could have done this alone if needed. It feels quite sturdy to sit in; there is some give of course, due to the materials.This is a good looking addition to the yard, and the price cannot be beat.Everything made of steel, powder-coated or not, will show rust someday, so I gave this a little extra protection at the joints with some black satin Rustoleum.

It was fairly easy to assemble. We added a cushion for a pop of color and are using it as a trellis for our grapevine. Very happy we purchased it.

I like it, easy to put together, stable, but rusts instantly. I buried it into the lawn a little bit for extra weight because i feel in a crazy windstorm it could blow over, but don't know for fact. Having read other reviews, I opted to paint it with rustoleum shiny black - preemptively - because once my roses/clematis are growing around it I knew I wouldnt be able to paint it. As others mentioned, the parts I missed [deeper into the connections] you can see the brown rust seeping out. Overall, with a little extra effort, its a worthwhile product, just get a chair cushion if you intend to sit on it, or your butt will hurt.

*updated review* This was pretty easy to put together however the mounting tabs for all the pieces are slightly bent and the pieces do not sit fully flush. This could have been an issue in shipping and it’s not getting taken apart to send back. It is pretty cute for my garden though and has been holding up the grapes nicely. The seller is very responsive and their customer service was great. They actually reached out me which I did not ask for or expect. If you plan on using it for sitting I highly suggest a pillow with a backrest because the knobs are not comfortable on the back.
