This motor was as described and was very easy to replace on my older whirlpool.

Worked great on my very old GE garage fridge.

Fit my fridge and works well. Significantly lower cost compared to oem. Cutoff old connector and used wire nuts to tie it in. Been running for about a month without issue.

Bought this knowing it was 1550rpm vs the one I took out at 1300rpm, figured what's a couple hundred RPM. Although my old one was worn out so may have been slowing down for awhile, the higher RPM does produce a few dB more noise with the fan blade I have. Have not bothered to fashion a ground wire as if you had a plug this is wire nut spliced so missing that, fingers crossed motor never shorts to case.

These motors are quiet and fit perfect in my fridge. Easy to swap.

You could hear compressor turn on frequently to cool refrigerator half upon checking condenser fan was spinning very slowly,problem is fixed back to normal. Motor is of quality.

My refrigerator is a 1985 Kenmore model no. 106.8740980. First noticed freezer wasn't keeping things frozen. Opened back cover and the exhaust fan was not spinning. If I gave the blade a push it would run for a while and then quit. Ordered this new fan and it was shipped quickly and well packaged. I decided there was more room, and it would be easier to take out the three sheet metal screws that held the frame and replace it that way rather than trying to replace the fan motor in place (see pics). Much easier and I could torque the bolts holding the fan down much better this way than trying to do it in the tight confines behind the motor. Everything was an exact fit and it is now working perfectly. Back in business for a reasonable cost and some time. Saved our refrigerator which we can no longer get the same color.

A couple YouTube videos and I had the old fridge up and running again. You do need to be a little handy. You need to cut the factory plug off the OEM motor and make a few wire connections with wire nuts, but as long as that doesn’t intimidate you itself a simple repair.

motor fit perfectly on our whirlpool fridge. it only has two wires coming out of the motor unlike the 3 wire original harness. Only issue was the mounting screws were too short, I had to by M4x15mm screws to mount the motor.

I used this product to replace a failed condensor motor on an old Amana BC20JW fridge. This product is fully compatible with the original US made product. The older seemed to have a more robust case (likely because it is 20+ years old). The other minor difference is that the original product had an extra screwhole in the housing, to which a grounding wire was attached. This unit does not have that extra screwhole - but if your grounding cable is long enough, you can attach it to one of the screws that hold the motor. My ground cable was not long enough to do this, so I had to extend the cable by attaching extra wire.The unit itself is excellent, and it works flawlessly. However, removing the old unit an installing the new unit in this particular refrigerator takes the patience of Job and the manual dexterity of a carpet weaver. Due to the space constraints under the fridge, it took 4 hours to remove and replace the 6 screws that held the motor and the extension arms.The trick is to remove the fan blade first. Then unscrew the 3 extension arms, each of which is held by a sheet metal screw to th mounting frame. Then you can remove the extension arms from the motor (each held with 1 screw). Reverse this process when installling the new motor.It takes a lot of patience.

L'installation s'est bien faite, les trous des vis sont comme celles de l'ancien moteur. Il suffisait d'une adaptation pour les fils électriques et ça tourne silencieusement. Super !
