I've been using these "Hot Shot No-Mess! Fogger With Odor Neutralizer," for many years and have been very happy with them. Shake for 30 seconds, remove the black cap, rotate the can so that it will point AWAY from you when you depress the lever, press the lever, and run away. I use 2 of these in my 2-car garage every month and 2 of these in my 800 sq.ft. metal shed every month. Before I started using these in the metal shed, I had a real black widow problem. Since then, no problem.The key with this is to do it regularly. If you wait only until you see bugs, it is already too late. Also, it is gas water-heater safe so this blue can is the one that I use in my garage where the water heater is located. Use the blue cans in the metal shed also.The only issue I had was a couple of years ago when they changed the plastic used in the dispenser nozzle (they switched from gray plastic and a white frosted plastic). Those cans didn't work since the white frosted plastic jammed or broke and wouldn't dispense. They quickly switched back to gray plastic, so they figured out that the white frosted plastic was a bad idea. No problems since then.Scott

We had a carpenter ant problem in our cabin and this fogger did the trick! It’s super easy to use, left no mess or residue behind, and—most importantly—it worked! We used it exactly as directed and it’s been about 9 months, and the ants haven’t come back.Important tip: Make sure you’re mindful of the product’s range. The package states that it treats 2,000 cubic ft of unobstructed space (approximately 15.5 ft x 16 ft x 8 ft ceiling). Our ceiling is 25 ft high so we made sure we placed it high enough to reach the ceiling (where the ants were burrowed).We’re really happy with how effective this was. No lingering smell, no residue or staining—just results. Highly recommend!

I bought a new home to find out that they had a roach nest in the kitchen cabinets behind the dishwasher. I set 3 cans across the first floor and left them overnight. Came back in the morning and the roaches were all sprawled out out dead or dying. Counted 10 of them in total. I'll probably give it another treatment in a week to make sure the infestation is dead. This stuff is good, but to use it properly you have to empty out the space you are treating, which might be difficult when you are already living there. Besides the fact that you also have to vacate for a few hours then ventilate again for a few more hours before you can go back inside. I also doubt that it will keep the bugs from outside coming back inside. So you should use some other treatment outside the house and around any openings that can't be sealed. I'd only use the fogger again if I notice an active infestation.Update: despite the confirmed kills from the first treatment I wasn't confident so I went ahead and did a second treatment and found that indeed several more roaches survived the first. This time I also saw the small nymphs among the casualties and earwigs which is a sign I've almost won the war. I am going to apply a 3rd and maybe even 4th treatment until they stop appearing entirely. So for those that tried this and it didn't work. You probably had stragglers and required multiple attempts. Roaches are quite hardy.

I have used these HOT SHOT FOGGERS for several years especially in the boat house, garage & out buildings. They work extremely well for about four (4) months. They also work very well inside my home and last for about six (6) months. I generally buy two (6) packs, for a total 🟰 of twelve (12) foggers, as advertised. However, recently I have been shorted, half of the order and only received six (6) Foggers. This happened on the last two (2) purchases. I contacted Amazon and they corrected my problem. However this caused me several hours of inconvenience and interrupted my fumigation process. I’ve read where this has happened to other customers, so I now buy a comparable product for about the same price as this one. Fool me once, my problem, fool me twice, your loss!! You may want to consider Black Flag as an alternative.
