These fermented black beans are good quality. Very tasty and good value. No complaints. I'll buy them again. They enhance my dishes and sauces, and taste delicious!I love that they come in 2 smaller pack within the package. So handy to just open a small pack at a time given that they last quite long.

I tend to use this in my "Hot & Sour Chicken" recipe. They're a little moist for my taste. Makes it hard to chop them up.

Oh, for the days when this was the cheapest seasoning around. Used to buy them for 10 cents a can 20 years ago! I do wish these ones were at least cheaper, but they can be hard to find outside Asian grocery stores. Salt fermented black beans are one of the most delicious ingredients in the Asian kitchen. These ones r very good, too. Excellent in stir fries and steamed recipes with seafood, pork and vegetables. You won’t need much to create a dish bursting with earthy, umami flavor. They pretty much keep forever too. One of my favorite ingredients.

I used to make black bean chicken on a regular basis. That was when I was living in a city with an Asian market. Now I am in a small rural town and am grateful they had them available on Amazon. Tastes just like I remember them. Cooked on the Blackstone instead of the wok. Recommend if you've had them before. It's an acquired taste.

wasn’t really thrilled with these flavors a little different and they seem kind of land. I don’t think I would buy this brand again, even though it got high ranks with lots of reviews.

This product smells and tastes fresh. It is good to use for many dishes, for example, egg-plant. I use less salt when I add these black beans to my dishes.
