Gator Frameworks GFW-MIC-0020 Telescoping Boom Arm

I picked up this boom arm to use with my gator frameworks stand and it's a sturdy unit.

This was a very worthy purchase. My old boom arm was flimsy and a standard mic was almost too heavy for it. So I purchased this one and am very glad I did. It has a nice counterweight so that it balances well. It is easy to slide and adjust tightly so that you don't have that horrible thing where the boom arm/mic start to droop in the middle of you singing (that has happened to me!). It attached to my mic stand without any problems and I added my existing mic clip to it without any hassle. I recommend it.

You would think that these don't look like the oldie goldie mic stands with chromed metal rods and metal hinge material/hefty weights on the end. You might order them anyway, thinking the price is right and how bad can they be? I did.But I've been impressed in the couple of months I've used these. I'm hanging Shure SM58 mics on them and they're solid! The friction is VERY adjustable. They don't need to be honked on with a pair of pliers like the old metal ones had to be sometimes. The wire management clips are great. The price is right. I love 'em!

Excellent product, works perfectly

This is a great addition to the best mic stand of the same brand. I have seven of these at my church job. My choir members are able to adjust these easily. They love the rubber coated knobs that turn easily and lock easily. I am completely satisfied!

La partie coulissante est vraiment d'un petit diamètre, donc entièrement déployée avec un micro lourd (style studio) elle se courbe légèrement comme une canne à pêche. Le côté coulissant reste cependant pratique pour diminuer l'encombrement (50 cm replié, 80 déplié) et si ce n'est pas déplié à fond, c'est relativement rigide. Concernant la vis centrale, il faut vraiment serrer très, très fort, dans mon cas, pour éviter que la perche ne bascule sous le poids, mais pour l'instant ça ne bouge plus. Comme c'est pour une installation fixe, ce n'est pas un problème pour moi, mais sauf à utiliser un micro léger (style scène), si vous devez serrer et desserrer souvent pas sûr que ça tienne la distance. Matériel très léger (vraiment ne pèse rien), ce qui selon ce que vous recherchez peut être un plus, ou un défaut. Très bien emballé, aucun risque qu'il ne s'abîme et livraison ultra-rapide. Ça reste un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Mi serviva un'asta a giraffa corta, che non poggiasse terra col treppiede solito ma che fosse agganciabile ad un supporto metallico verticale. L'ho realizzata con questa giraffa insieme al clamp/asta CLMPBM9, anch'esso Gator Frameworks. Il risultato è esattamente quello che mi serviva, ed ho subito acquistato un altro di entrambi.Tornando all'oggetto in questione, ottima fattura, compatta, leggera, verniciatura apparentemente resistente.Molto soddisfatto.

danneggiato ne ho acquistati 2. entrambi sono arrivati con viti e maniglie danneggiate. c'è un materiale simile al silicone utilizzato nelle viti e nel manico che è diventato appiccicoso. sembra che si siano sciolti a causa del calore o del sole
