Works easier and better than the old "Hacksaw Method " Shown to me by an electrician.
Takes a little practice but the end product is much easier to use with the inserts and leaves the armor clad cable much less distorted.

Not as good as Kleins but real freaking close.
I hate to admit it but kleins weird design is still king. I like the simplicity of this one and was a devout acolyte of the old Greenlee model which this one is a cheaper version of. However day one the handle fell off so I added (4) 1/4” lock washers to it, one for each threaded bolt on it so that the handle and blade were now accounted for. That seemed to keep it tight. But then you got the functionality. The cutter spring works ok but if the set screw side isn’t properly adjusted you could easily grind into the conductors, as I did. The moment that happened I informed my co workers and a buddy gave me his old beat up Klein. I changed that blade, removed the broken handle by boring it to a 1/4”-20, used a 1 3/4”x1/4” bolt with a lead anchor housing left just enough room to rotate comfortably as I crank this hog and bam! I really wanted this to work as I don’t like kleins flimsy spring handle despite its excellent functionality. But nothings perfect I guess. 8/10 pretty good. Would recommend only if you have a habit of breaking the Klein spring handle, need a lighter weight tool, or just wanna make your splits take just a bit more time. You weirdo. Never change.

By far better than the roto-split
This tool is excellent! It even strips the smaller 16/2 fire alarm cable with ease. I would heartily recommend it.

Works okay, slips a little, but the big ...
Works okay, slips a little, but the big negative is that it arrived with a shattered blade, forcing me to go to my local store and buy one for $5!
