Worth the cost
The battery fit well. It keeps a charge. The only issue is how long the battery lasts. This is most likely because of my computer model. It is an alienware 17 p18e. It uses up battery life really fast. I can get away with about 2 and a half hours to three working on my college classes. Playing games i have about an hour of battery life. Overall for the cost it is quality for what you pay. I have read other reviews and it seems they will also work to replace your battery if it is defective.

Excellent Support From Seller
Replaced the original battery in my AW18 in Oct, 2020. In June 2021 the battery failed to take a charge so I contacted the seller, explained the situation and had a replacement within just a few days. New battery works great and all is well. Battery has a 12 month warranty and they stood by it.

Alienware batteries are always tough to figure.
Alienware machines are pretty tough to figure. They have so many internal things going on like keyboard and outside lights, internal monitors, high end fan reactors, etc that all affect battery life.I installed the new battery which came with a 55% charge in an Alienware R1. It lasted about 50 minutes playing a high 60 fps game in the background. That was better than expected. My machine shut down with 6% left. When I plugged it in it said 2 hours and 17 minutes to full charge which was pretty close. After 35 minutes of charging it said I had 69% left and 1 hour and 11 minutes clock time. That didn't work out to well. After 30 minutes of running the machine unplugged it said I had 25% left but only 15 minutes of clock time.At that point it said it would be 2 hours and 3 minutes to full charge. 10 minutes later it said 1 hour and 40 minutes to full charge. Obviously some weird calculations going on there.Keep in mind I had a high 60 FPS game running in the background for this test. When the battery was fully charged I started playing videos to monitor the battery drain. I'm running Win 10 with Outlook active and Chrome running random videos, USB keyboard, USB mouse and thumb drive all powered through the computer. The battery drained to 11% in about 55 minutes.Under any circumstances running an Alienware machine with a high FPS game and getting over an hour from the battery seems pretty good.I will continue a compile more times to see if the numbers remain consistent and post back if they are not. At some point I will boot into the BIOS and allow the battery to drain to zero, get some real discharge numbers then recharge from zero. This is the only way to truly calibrate a battery even though this did not come with any instructions to do that.If a new battery drains to zero in less than an hour under normal use then it would be unacceptable and I would return it for a replacement or refund.Hope this helps.Update 1/21/20... I did another test:With 2 Chrome windows open, Windows Explorer, Malware Bytes, Avast and Outlook desktop this was the battery drain. In 1 hour and 20 minutes I drained 70% of the battery. Details are:4:41 100%, 5:20 66%, 5:27 61%, 5:34 55%, 5:43 48%, 5:49 42%, 5:57 35% and at 6:03 30% with the battery report saying it had 34 minutes remaining. After typing this at 6:11 it had 23% and 26 minutes. So it looks like about 77% drain in about 1 hour and 30 minutes with the machine running low CPU usage activity.

Easy battery install to make computer portable again
As it had been over a year since I replaced the battery on my Alienware computer, it took a couple minutes to refresh my memory on how to do it. Relatively painless to do as it is fairly easy. The hardest part was figuring out the screw placement to get them out. And the tiny screws can be challenging to keep track of and handle. After getting the battery replaced and everything back together, the computer started right up and commenced to charging the battery. Obviously a good sign.I very much appreciate the seller sending instructions that the new battery should be cycled a few times for maximum battery life.

Works , but barely
Never manage to fully charge the battery. Only about 50%. Otherwise, easy to replace and made my LapTop with dead battery functional. Amazon customer service is great.

Terrible battery
First battery did ok for a month then the health dropped from 98 percent to low 60s . They sent me a replacement . This battery is at 58 percent health and refuses to charge . I do not recommend these people as they clearly have no idea how to source cells and balance charge them correctly

It fits and works
For some reason Dell doesnt sell replacement batteries for its 18 in Alienware laptops so I had to purchase this one off Amazon. Its been about 4 mos or so nd it is working like a charm, doesn't get hot and decent life when its not plugged in.2 Thumbs up!

Now battery life in my laptop
Got the battery , very solid well built , no wire issues like other brands, was charged at 80% but shut down at 25% , on my first charge i check my battery info and the picture says the health is at 95% so im not sure if that will get better after the battery syncs etc . I will update date it in a week. Well Day 2 charged system twice so far , seems the battery is good maybe not up to 86wh specs but does provide battery life. I will update soon.
