A lot nicer, higher quality than I thought they'd be for the price.
I was surprised how big these were (didn't read the product info very carefully to be fair) and how well it felt for the price. For the few dollars I paid, I wasn't expecting much. Just needed some cheap, small scissors for the bathroom and I got a second pair for projects with tight fitting places I needed to snip anything in.They were very tight, nothing loose or vibrations anywhere. A lot bigger than I thought they'd be. The sheer strength is very good, it cut the tops of q-tips no problem in the bathroom, wire and so far anything I've really needed to cut with it. I bought these for a cheap pair of beater scissors but so far I've really liked them.I like the exposed screw head too, It fits nice and flush with a smooth look but I like to be able to tighten them down the road.

You won't be able to guess what I use these for!!!
I know these are used by doctors in there offices and in hospitals. After one of my surgeries, my doctor brought in a sterile package with these scissors in to cut off my stitches. He then put them in the drawer of the nightstand by my bed! He said that I would get biilled for them anyways, so I might as well get to keep them! It's amazing how often I use them. But you will never guess the main reason I use them for! I have a beautiful Ragdoll Kitty with long, thick fur. When I find sections of fur that are matted together, these scissors work great to cut them off!! Seriously!!!

Handle with caution, very sharp scissors.
I purchased these to trim Denture pads because you need a good sharp blade to get a good clean trim. For this purpose these scissors worked great. I hope my surgeon uses a better pair as these have some minor defects on the blade surface, but certainly nothing that would interfere with anything I might use them for.Good purchase, would buy again. Decent quality and very sharp.

They are very sharp and make me feel more comfortable when wrapping or removing wrap from an animal's foot
These work really well. We bought them for cutting medical supplies for our animals. They are very sharp and make me feel more comfortable when wrapping or removing wrap from an animal's foot. They were very affordable and are a great tool to keep in your emergency kit.

Nice metal scissor
Very nice scissor that doesn't have to be used for surgery. I purchased them as an all-metal scissor for beer brewing, which requires a soak in sanitizing solution prior to opening a yeast pack. They can be used for anything that needs cutting. They're small, so they work best for simple applications. I don't recommend them for use by children.

Ahhhh ... depends on what you're using them for
These are alright. I'm not sure that I agree with those that mentioned that they work well in skin tags. They were not able to cut a small to medium sized skin tag without several attempts ... which was rather unpleasant for my husband.

These scissors are sharp and well made. The blades strong and straight.
I had purchased some a few months ago and they were used, the blades were dull and bent.

They're good for cutting surgical tape and bandages if you don't ...
These scissors are much too big for cutting skin tags. I would've sent them back as I have no use for them but a return wasn't worth the time or effort so I tossed them in my junk drawer and called it a day. They're good for cutting surgical tape and bandages if you don't already have scissors for that purpose (I prefer small sewing scissors). Cuticle scissors or nippers do an excellent job at cutting skin tags if that's why you're looking for surgical scissors.
