Best darn hair catcher out there
UPDATE: after 6 months of not cleaning the product, it finally started to get clogged. After a quick cleaning where it was full of soap, toothpaste and hair residue, it now continues to function perfectly. 6 months is crazy good but I’m going to make sure I clean every month or two to minimize my olfactory overload. Love this product!This is a fantastic product that helps to prevent my gf hair from clogging the pipes. The other products were used would clog up to fast due to congealing of hair and toothpaste. Since the filter is after the p trap area, the toothpaste Is mostly diluted.The only bad part is the installation. It would be great if the product had come with fittings that exactly matched the size of an average p trap. Sadly, for my bathroom sink, I had to make adjustments to my plumbing to make it work. But boy was it worth it!!!

So far it works!
Had to find the right connecting pipe to lead to the wall but installing it was relatively easy! I am a potter and was very excited to clean some supplies to test how this thing works!No leaks, and the clay sediment settled at the bottom of the trap as expected! No more cleaning clay tools outside for this gal! :)I'll update this later if I come across any issues!

Sturdy and well designed.
Appreciated that the filters inside were removable to adjust for water flow through the trap. Works very very well at trapping hair.

How particulate are you?
Tried this in my kitchen to lessen the food getting past the strainer. Has to be cleaned out every few weeks, but that is better than a clogged pipe under the house. Also learned to pour a big pot of almost boiling water down the drain once a month to flush out any fats.

Great Product
Easy install (for those who are handy). Traps almost everything in the clear plastic trap bowl. Trap bowl unscrews for easy access. Will protect downstream waste lines that have insufficient pitch and diameter, or too many turns.First tightening of bowl requires strong hands (or strap wrench) for tight seal and opening, then becomes easy after first tightening.Filter in bowl will plug-up, if your sink does not have a fine strainer. Just remove and wash in bathtub.There are no more clogs and the snaking of the long kitchen waste pipe here with this product.
