Having retired from playing years ago I now run the line for my Daughters Ladies Football team so I thought I'd give Kapps Dubbin a try to protect my recently purchased New Balance Football boots. The Dubbin is very easy to apply and, despite my daughter's cynicism that it wouldn't work on modern boots, I tried it anyway. Last Sunday the weather was shocking, it poured with rain but the Kaps Dubbing worked a treat, the boots were fully protected and not only the rain just run off keeping my feet dry but so did the mud ad grass! At the end of the match other that the sole of the boots they looked absolutely pristine. Amazing product at a very reasonable price. I shall definitely be re-ordering when this tin is empty.

I love this! I used it on my new pairs of boots, then brought down all the used ones and went to work on them. They shone! I also used the wax on my patent leather boots, and it brought them back to life even if the wax wasn’t totally absorbed. I will be re-waxing all my boots monthly from now onwards. Superb product.

I'm satisfied with this product, which I use to protect my walking boots. Basically, it's a form of grease which you apply to the leather item that needs protecting. Regarding my boots, although it stops the leather from drying out, it doesn't stop the leather from cracking in places where the boot flexes as I walk. It does seem to prevent water ingress through those cracks, although that might be because the boots are equipped with a waterproof Gore-Tex lining. I find it best to make a fresh application every couple of days. You'll need something with which to apply it such as a cloth or sponge.

My old leather walking boots needed some attention . After a clean I applied and let soak in over night. Looked like new boots and definitely improved the feel and water resistance .

Bought the dubbin to treat a dog harness and muzzle I had made before packing it a way as my dog had passed on unexpectedly also used it to treat my sons £300 boxing gloves to stop cracking extremely pleased with the overall transaction
