It works!
This tray is magical! No more ants in our cat food! I wish I could put my entire house on a tray like this 😀But seriously, it was very easy to assemble and it is easy to clean. The cats initially were concerned but after a day, they were fully adapted. If you have ants in your pet food, get this!

Terrific!
I have tried many things to prevent ants from getting into my cat's food, but they all involved some kind of moat or water barrier which was messy and required constant cleaning. This BugSnub Ant Proof Tray is the solution to the problem! It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Easy to assemble and set up. I used a popsicle stick to spread the repellant goop under the legs so that I wouldn't have to wear gloves or get the goop all over my fingers. The size of this tray is perfect for my automatic feeder and is very sturdy. I placed it about an inch or so from the wall. The surface of the tray is slippery, so I may have to put a non-slip mat under my feeder to keep it from sliding around. Optional colors would have been a plus, but the black is just fine. Time will tell if it keeps ants from getting into the food, but so far so good! Very happy with this purchase. Well worth the price.

BugSnub tray with feet and gel packs - WORKS!
The media could not be loaded. Video is how to assemble product. I gave it a try for outdoor cat feeding system that gets swarmed with ants within minutes. And ... this product is fabulous so far! I now have the water and food bowls on the tray without worry of ants. I do keep an eye out as recommended for any blockage or debris that can create a bridge for ants. But to have that stress off our family has been amazing. No more lost food and money, no ants swimming in the water, no ant trails. Our outside cat is no longer begging for replenished food because his food bowl is taken over by ants. Also, go to their website to order more packets if need. Product is recommended to last about a year but monitor its effectiveness. Thanks BugSnub.

Works Fantastic!
Did exactly what I was hoping for. I have had this product out on my "kitty catio" for over two weeks now and no signs of any ants. Prior to this product, I put down a bowl of food and it had ants crawling all over it within 24 hours or less. For anyone that states this doesn't work maybe you need to place it on some stepping stones to stop ants from crawling up a blade of grass or something. It definitely works, so now I can be at peace knowing I can leave my cat for a couple of days without worrying about the ants taking over his food dish!

They do the job I need them to do
I didn't realize Ant-palooza had come to town this summer, but it feels never ending! I have three kitties who don't always finish their food in one go and these buggers were super psyched about that. Finally got these trays to try out, and they have solved the pain of me having to clean out billions of ants on three bowls twice daily. They are a little pricier than I would have liked, but they have a solid quality about them, they were easy to set up, and they're stable, and do the job I needed them to. I think they'll last a long time. I haven't had them for long, so I haven't had to reapply the goo just yet, but I wasn't bothered by the feel of it on my fingers when applying.

Seems good. Some thoughts...
So I got this tray for my 8 year old indoor/outdoor cat. With the rain finally coming, in California, we've had a trail of ants every now and then from the front door to the cat bowl. The tray is the right size, not too small, and not too big. Perfect for 2 bowls, I often have one iced timed bowl for early mornings and then another bowl.I just set it up, so can't comment on effectiveness yet, but I do have two initial thoughts:1) The surface of the tray is very slick. So unless your pet bowls have some sort of bottom on them that won't slide around, pets are going to struggle with that! I happened to have some of that sticky waffle shelf paper rubber stuff handy, so I cut a piece and put it straight on there, which should solve the slippery problem.2) The instructions show someone putting the goopy stuff on the tray cups with their bare hands... so I did that, figuring it would wash off with soap. It does not, and leaves you with this disgusting, sticky residue all over your hands for... I don't know how long. They should tell you to wear gloves.Anyway, will try to update on it's effectiveness once we have a chance for the rein to come again. It'll be nice of this solution keeps ants away from pet food effectively! I might get another for our feral!
