It works well on canvas boat covers
I have a canvas mooring cover for my boat (actual cotton canvas, not Sunbrella type material). It had worn holes in the corners that mate with the windshield and I wanted to repair. The patch material was heavier than the cover, which is good. I used the glue to glue on the patch (applied to both surfaces) and then the next day I stitched the perimeter of the patch. The stitching takes some practice, but OK once you get the hang of it. It doesn't help if you are working far from the edge of your work because you have one hand on each side and I had a big wad of canvas to deal with. It's not pretty but I think I have a good patch.

Great for camper repair
I bought a mid-60s pop up tent trailer. While the canvas is in remarkably good condition, there were a couple spots at the bottom that are under tension being tightened down when it's set up and have torn. Previous owner attempted some repairs and previous adhesive patches had failed because of the tension (as evidence by the residue). This kit is wonderful. I cut my patches, one for inside and one for outside, and used the fabric glue to secure them. Then I used the sewing awl to go around it. The thing punches through 5+ layers of canvas easily. It's very easy to use, and once you get the hang of it it's pretty quick. I used a dot of clear nail polish to secure the knot and dab on the edges so the patches don't fray. There's no way the canvas will fail with the patches on. I have TONS of canvas left over and I didn't even go through the spool of cord loaded into the awl - this is a seriously good deal to have on hand.

Easy to use, must have for pop up camper owners
This kit is amazing! All 4 corners of our pop up were torn, and ripped and to recanvas is quite pricey so we tried this first. We thought we would have to sew the tears, but the tear mender, and tape worked perfect! Also we have lots left as back up. If you have a pop up camper, you need this kit. I highly recommend! Easy to use as my husband repaired all 4 corners in about 2 hrs.

Worked on my pop-up canvas.
The delivery was quick. I was slightly disappointed in the glue; it seemed like it would not hold up if I only glued the patch. I did use the glue to install the patches, then after letting it set for a day I used the Speedy Stitcher and secured the patches. The Speedy Stitcher worked as expected, easy to use; just took some getting use to it.Over all I would say this was the right way to go for me to fix the canvas on my camper.

as advertised
the first one they shipped the glue was dried up and useless, but on contact they were happy to send a new batch which so far has worked very well! I haven't had a chance to test the waterproofing on it since putting the patches on (left that option unrated), but the glue dries quickly and is all easy to put together. I didn't use the tool because the instructions were confusing for assembling it, so I just used a standard leather needle and stitched by hand, but so far everything else is working great.

Works great on my pop up camper .
We had a mouse get into our camper over the winter and chewed a couple small holes in the canvas. I was not about to spend $750.00 for another side bunk panel. This kit seemed like a pretty reasonable alternative. I was skeptical at first but figured what do I have to lose at this point. The adhesive is a bit messy to apply so I would suggest placing a small amount in a bowl and apply it with a brush . So far the repair we made held up to two camp outings and a few rainfalls .

Great to have on hand for canvas repair.
Purchased this to repair some dry rot areas on our pop up camper. Instructions are fairly easy to understand, but did not have pictures. If you are a visual person there are videos on YouTube. I did not use the needle yet because the glue included was amazing! I cut my patches and liberally applied the glue to both surfaces and so far they have held after 3 setup and tear downs. The only thing that may be an issue for some is that the glue dried dark orange in places. Not a problem for us, but I would be more careful in the future with excess. Overall a great product to have on hand!
