Long life for a small UPS
Purchased one of these batteries in 2018. Back then I paid $281.21. Prices on batteries are up across the board, so I cannot fault Odyssey for the today price of $500+.I am using this battery for a home grown UPS. I work from home 100% of the time; have done so now for over seven years. For the home office, I wanted a large yet affordable UPS that would get me through a work day. Power outages are few and far between, but for some reason we had a string of about five months where the power would trip off and then back on several times a month. This would power off everything, modem, router, switch and POE devices, APs, monitors, multiple computers, everything. Very frustrating.I picked up an AIMS 12v DC to pure sine wave inverter with auto-switching that handles 1200 watts AC sustained, 2400 watts AC surge. This is something you would find in a smaller RV. The auto-switch kicks in instantly when there is a power sag or outage. To this I added a 10' 10-gauge copper extension cord (cut in half) to plug the inverter in between the wall outlet and the power strip, 4 gauge copper jumper cables to wire to the battery (cut off the ends and solder), a Blue Sea fuse terminal, and this battery to power the inverter when the power is off. Oh, and a 4 amp Battery Tender charger to keep the battery a float. All of my computer and network gear together draw a steady 500+ watts. Over the past 6+ years the UPS has had to kick in for nearly a days worth of usage just a handful of times now. This battery keeps it running without issue and seemingly no loss in performance. There have been multiple momentary trips in mains power, but I only know about those because the I hear the inverter click and its cooling fans spool up. All the computer gear never shows signs of the switch from mains to battery. This battery enjoys a pretty easy life, sitting on the floor of my home office. No thermal changes, no vibration, no extreme temperatures. But I still love it. No acid-flooded battery in my house to leak or corrode or off-gas. The top terminals are perfect for attaching to the battery cables and the charging cables and the fuse terminal. No BMS system needed or concerns with matching lithium ion batteries to the 12v DC the inverter expects. Simplicity. It has been plug-n-play with dependability.I like this battery so much that when my diesel pickup need a new pair of batteries, I ordered Odyssey batteries to replace the disappointing Optimas; one of the Optimas failed prematurely. Those new Odyssey Extreme Heavy Duty batteries arrived with 13.1 volts DC charge. They have been in place for close to four years now and have endured some pretty hard and lengthy cranking of the diesel engine in cold winter temperatures, and that was after running the glow plugs. They keep going and the next morning after resting over night, still maintain their 13.1 v DC charge. They have already outlived the two Optima batteries they replaced. I expect them to go for four more years or beyond. Very happy with Odyssey.I anticipate another 6+ yeas out of this battery. When it eventually dies, I'll see what is on the market then, but wouldn't be surprised if this battery (if still in production) will be the affordable option. For piece of mind, more run time, I wish I would had ordered two. But with that said, this single battery has made it through an eight hour work day before without issue. Fits my project perfectly.

Awesome truck upgrade!
I purchased two of these that sit forward of the wheel wells in individual battery boxes the bed of my F-350. They are connected to an onboard air system that requires up to 180 amps when running (Oasis air compressor), as well as my to my truck camper for additional house battery capacity through 160 amp Anderson Connectors. They are also connected to a front and rear bumper 160 amp Anderson connector for winch or jumper cable attachment. So far I am very pleased with these batteries. I have them hooked to a 250 amp upgraded alternator in my truck through a 300 amp Perfect Switch dual battery isolator. I wired everything using 1/0 welding cable. Yes a bit of overkill but I have full use of the capacity of these batteries! I am very happy with them. I can provide my camper with more battery capacity, power my onboard air system even with the truck off, power a front or rear winch, power my dash camera to this set which records even when the truck is off, or even jump start another vehicle, all without using my two engine diesel starting batteries! With a simple flip of a switch I also installed on my dash, I can start the truck using these batteries through the Perfect Switch. Battery nirvana!

Absolutely fantastic
It's not cheap, but it's worth it. With the proper battery post adopters, this baby fit and works perfectly in my rock crawler. No spills, no self discharge just 12 VDC when you need to restart while hanging on a side hill.

Lasted 7 months and company would not honor warranty
I first wrote the company through Amazon. Then crickets. My local marine supplier did me a favor and shipped it back to Odyssey for a warranty refund. The company said that the battery was "sulfated" and as such was not covered. Well yeah, the battery failed to hold a charge in May after installation the previous November. Obviously, the company does not honor their warranties and finds excuses to exclude your claim. Between November and May, the battery was kept on a trickle charger and connected to a full charger every week or so - with the battery switch in the off position. I have since replaced the faulty battery at my own cost, but I will think twice and probably buy a different brand next time. I have two other batteries that this failure did not happen, so the problem was obviously a manufacturing defect.

Expensive. Worth it.
I have a 40ft diesel pusher RV with a Freightliner/Cat C7. The coach has two group 31 chassis/starting batts located inboard of the four six-volt golf cart "house" batts that must be removed to change out the two cranking batts. Since I'd decided to do this change myself, and didn't want to do it again for a lonnnng time, I decided to more than double the price of "normal" 1000CA batteries and instead get a pair of these 2150 pups, based on the company's claims, the published specs, and reviews. They arrived promptly in really handsome and durable cardboard packaging, which is warranted when they weigh about 80lbs each. Although mine were less than a month old upon arrival, I decided to give them a top-off charge anyway but first checked their resting voltage. Both were in the 13..1+ range, which was very impressive. When I installed them a week later, both were right around 13V.The specs on these batts are amazing. Lay a big wrench across both terminals and run - the brief shorted 5000 amp output computes (if I did the math right) to about 60,000 watts. Yer gonna need a new wrench. The batts can rest uncharged for a year, or two if kept chilled, without harm or significant loss of charge. Their cold cranking amps are spectacular, and with about a dozen start-ups on these batts so far, I can tell you that I've never heard the engine crank nearly this fast. It sounds like you could drive to Toledo just on the starter. So color me very impressed to date. I think it'll be a lot more than the 4.5 years I got out of the old ones before I'll be replacing these babies.
