Pasta pasta
I bought this to go with our beaba babycook machine. It does what it says - it cooks rice and pasta - but it doesn’t steam it (the pasta has to have water covering it to cook) so it seems a bit pointless - may as well use a saucepan

Poorly designed, dangerous
I wanted to like this product but it truly failed to deliver. My main gripe is with the poor and dangerous design of the blending blades. They simply do not fit easily or well, which means I'm risking getting my fingers shredded every single time I detach it to wash and reattach it to use. It also results in leakage issues other reviewers have mentioned (the blades fit through a hole at the bottom of the blending bowl and that's where the leak is). When I first noticed the leak, I assumed I did not lock the blades in firmly enough (a difficult taskto do without slicing your fingers). On second use I made doubly sure it was fully locked on, but the blades popped off and detached from the bowl the moment the blender is turned on, leaking everywhere and leaving me with a bowlful of unblended food. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Grrat for quick health baby food
I really like the quality of this product. The glass is made of thick glass, blades are nice and sharp..you need to be really careful when disassemble for cleaning:)) barely touched the blade and it cut my finger. Results are nice smooth purees or chunky depending on the consistency you want. You will need to hold down the blending button until you reach the consistency you want though but the steamer function is automatic.Overall great product and really easy to use an clean.Pricey compared to other but we really wanted a glass container not a plastic one.Update-customer service is great as well, after an year of daily use,the product stopped heating the water, bot sure if it was the button that was faulty ,but I contacted them and sent the product for checks ,they decided it was a manufacturer fault and replaced the item with a new one.I will keep using this product for a long time I am sure ,veggies are very tasty and food easy to reheat.Thank you Beabà

Amazing
This product is super easy to use in the baeba machine, its great for cooking grain and pasta i found that with this product as long as you put enough water inside as per instructions when cooking any type of grain it wont stick to the side and it cooks pasta very well for my little one! Quality is also great and i also feel it will last a while as its made from long wearing material! Size is also great and does the job cooking good portions of pasta for the little ones

Fire Hazard - be very careful!
I genuinely liked the product just until today, I bought it about a year ago, and given very little use. The product almost went on fire when steaming apples, and out of the blue, the blades started going at the same time the steamer was on! Very bizarre and so dangerous. Then a spark of fire came from the bottom back where the main cable is! Luckily I was in the kitchen to unplug it. I haven’t dare to plug it back in and use it again. I’m terrified of getting electrocuted and for this product to cause a major fire disaster. If you have bought one and or if you are intending to buy one, never leave this item unattended, be very careful with this product and be mindful that it is not durable. I have contacted the sales department for further guarantee and or product investigation, but no answer so far.

Great piece of kit, but pricey
I didn't intend to buy new kit to prepare baby food, but when my old food processor failed to get the puree to the necessary consistency and I had a screaming baby on my hands, I decided i needed to throw money at the problem and bought this. It worked like a dream and i have been able to prepare healthy meals super quick for my hungry baby, and adjust the consistency of the purees very easily. A really top quality product with a powerful blade. However it is expensive, and I do feel a bit guilty about spending all the money on this. I'm just hoping that I can continue to use it for myself long after baby has got past weaning - should be able to use it for small portions of steamed food, and would be great to make things like soup quickly

Very good
Was skeptical at the beginning as the design seems a bit fussy but it’s quite a good steamer and food processor. You can’t steam loads so will have to use it multiple times if you are doing batch cooking but you can definitely fit enough in there of a couple of meals. Also, you can chop stuff to really fine texture which is a plus and could see it using it after I no longer need it for my baby.

Inoperative after 2 years; Glass jar cracks
Purchased this item January 2021. In June 2021, the glass jar became cracked. The item was replaced by Béaba under warranty. In November 2021, the replacement glass jar became cracked. The item was again replaced by Béaba under warranty. Note the glass jars were used properly--allowed to cool before washing and never dropped. In December 2022, the food maker when started did not heat all the time. I found that if I started the food maker and shut it off and then started it again, the heat would begin. However, that technique/fix no longer helped by June 2023. Namely, by June 2023 the food maker did not heat when started. Béaba would not replace the food maker as the warranty period was past. This is a short warranty period for an item that will likely be used by most for at least the first three years of a child’s life. Overall, an expensive item that for us did not hold up to regular use. Buyer be(a)ware!
