LEGODisney Princess Jasmine's Exotic Palace

Jasmine' Exotic Palace is yet another attractive set in the Disney Princess LEGO line. While not one of the larger builds, there's a number of individual set pieces that will make construction feel like a longer, satisfying process. Some mom's were a bit put off by these Disney sets having various pre-built pieces, which seems very un-LEGO-like, but I like the mixture. The combination of traditional LEGO brick building combined with special pieces like the curved palace walls makes the finished product even more appealing, especially for the girls! This is a fun set to put together, with very little frustration. There are a number of small parts, but nothing overwhelming like some other sets I've seen. The mini figurine of Jasmine is stunning, with more human-like features than your usual LEGO characters. In fact, just like the LEGO Friend's series, all of the figurines in the entire Disney Princess Line appear more doll-like, yet still remain compatible with your Lego pieces. Once again, a big draw for young female LEGO fans (or collectors in general!). I think the only downside is what's behind it all. If you look check out the back of the "palace" (and I use that word loosely), there's not much going on inside, but the outside certainly has enough. There are a few stickers that have to be applied, but there are beautiful pre-printed designs on a few objects like the magic carpet which make up for it. Overall a, charming little set that's fun to look at and rearrange.

This is a great Lego set, especially for the price. This set includes the palace, a flying carpet, a water fountain, a market stall, a palm tree, and a pedestal for the lamp. There are also tons of "jewels" and flowers. The Jasmine and Raja figures are also adorable. My daughter loves all the "sparkly" pieces and the figures. Since this is half to a third of the price of other Disney Princess sets and includes so many fun things, I think it is a wonderful value.

I bought this for my girlfriend's niece. She loved it. Princess Jasmine is her favorite princess, so this was the perfect LEGO. She was only 4 (almost 5) so she needed some help to put it together (and didn't also want to follow the instructions). She enjoyed putting it together and playing with it.

I bought these for my younger daughter after she kept trying to play with my older daughters Lego friends. My youngest daughter was able to complete these completely on her own thanks to the easily understandable directions. My daughter is now fascinated with Legos thanks to these princess themed Legos and asks me to buy more at every store we go to.

SO many tiny pieces. I knew it would be small, but dang. When did Legos get this tiny? I accidentally spilled it all over the floor as I was putting it up (the kids are too young to play with this right now), and I was afraid I couldn't find all the pieces. I sent my husband in to put it together to make sure we have all the parts. I was afraid my youngest would accidentally find a lego gem and eat it. It took him an hour to put together. We also found out there were extra parts, and more than the quantity suggested. That defeated the purpose. When it was put together, it looked like the picture. So, looks like the image, but smaller than expected.... and provides an hour of adult entertainment, but a few months of waiting to see if your baby will poop out a tiny lego. Pick and choose your battles people.

I received this expecting a new Lego set. I also paid for shipping even though I have Prime. The product was not new.It has been resealed with plastic. When you pay for new you should get a new product.

This review is from my 7 year old daughter, "it's fun looking, but I don't love it, I just like it". From Mom- the set was fun to put together, for both of us, as are most lego sets. But my kids lost interest in it once it was assembled. Building the sets is what's the most fun and it doesn't matter if your child knows who jasmine is or not (mine did not) they still enjoyed putting this set together. And they let mom help a little which is always fun for me :)

LEGOs are loved by children, and this is a cute arrangement. They're all rather expensive, but kids quite like them and do play well with them. To gather a quantity of LEGOs, however, one must plan on quite an investment.
