Reflective White Foam Insulation Heat Shield Thermal Insulation Shield 48"x4ft

We use this on our screen door. We have a doggie door that we like to use most of the year but have not before getting this insulation. What a difference it makes and keeping the heat in and cold out! We simply cut the insulation the size of the screen door and held it in place with Velcro adhesive rolls( extra strong indoor/outdoor). Fantastic! Now we use our doggie door almost all year round. We also have plastic on the outside of the screen door held on with the Velcro adhesive tape for summer use. That was great for when the air conditioning is on and we could see through the screen door. With the plastic(clear shower curtain cut to size)on outside of screen door and insulation in the inside of screen door it is perfect for winter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!

I am currently living in the desert and this has seriously changed my life. I'm in a room above the garage that is south west facing, so gets full day sun. This keeps my room at a comfortable temperature.

Return from vacation and immediately opened and put up next morning. The package looked ok, was just wrapped in plastic, had to be careful and tear off by hand. There was a damaged spot (see pic). I was able to get my piece with out damaged area, but limited to what use on next. but this was my main use. i measured and cut magnet tape, used what others recommended. So hopeful will stay. Or not damage so, if i need to do something else. We like our fan and do use it during cooler times. I just wanted something i could use an remove if needed to use.Could feel heat from ceiling, as already turned air on. So can't wait to see how it helps house. Four stars cause damaged spot may be unusable and fact i just put up and have to wait and see. I would recommend at this time.

Used it to cover the side curtains on two window A.C. Units, inside and out. It is a semi regid insulation with a white vinyl cover on one side and reflective silver cover on the other side.Easy to cut with scissors. I used GORILLA DOUBLE SIDEDTAPE TO hold it in place ! The white side is seen on both the inside and outside. It covers the A.C. side curtains great. Dresses them up, knocks out drafts and temp transfers, and adds some noise reduction. Good product. Would buy again.

I love the impact this is having on my apartment, which is in an older building with poor insulation, huge windows, and on the third floor. It gets HOT. I have a portable air conditioner and used this on my windows to help keep the heat out and electricity costs down. It’s definitely making a difference keeping my place cool. Great product, definitely recommend it. I’ve already purchased a second roll❤️

I need it for project the sizes mentioned was perfect but that not what I got. Some are larger than described and last 4 pieces where 4 inches smaller.Just added extra hours work for me to make it fit.Other than that it was good qualityWhite foam and aluminum sides.

Value for the money is installation it was very easy to cut very easy to install and I chose the white backing because I have a glass door that's facing the Sun and it gets very hot in the afternoon so I wanted something to blend in with the house instead of just something with that tin foil look this works great highly recommend

The product arrived and looks just like the pictures. I was skeptical about an R-8 rating, but the seller responded to the R value question and stated R-8, also acceptable for use inside A/C air handler, recommended white side facing coil. Since my purchase the sellers answer to the question has disappeared. Only people stating R-8 are other buyers, no R rating listed in ad or anything listed on the product. After seeing it, hard to believe R-8 since 1 Inch EPS Foam Board only has R-4.2. Can't be the radiant heat barrier since placed against the inside there is no air space to make it functional as recommended by DOE. Live and learn, purchased since the seller answered the question and provided the information, went back to confirm and it's gone. Purchased this because I could not find anything similar in 1/2 inch thickness, only solution may be to double up.
