NO-M.A.R® 1911 Barrel Bushing Wrench Clear See through pocket size 45 acp

While it doesn’t look like much and probably took someone about 20 seconds to make in a CNC machine, it does exactly what I needed it to do and i don’t have a CNC machine so it’s worth the money to me. It’s nice to be able to see through the wrench when refitting the bushing and the polymer won’t add any scuffs like a metal bushing wrench.

I have been using this wrench for over a year now on my 40+ collection of 1911's and it is my preferred tool for the barrel bushing. It is certainly a wonderful thing to be able to see through the wrench as to where the barrel bushing and guide rod spring retainer is so that it does not come flying out. It is conversely a great tool for putting the barrel bushing back over the rod guide bushing. Again it is great to be able to see and verify the alignment. Also I use it to help press down the spring and bushing, which is very helpful for my 18+ lb springs and the 24# spring for the Delta Elite...great product!

Ideal as a small tool. Easy to carry in a bag.

I have 4 1911s, a Llama, Kimber Custom, ATA and just got a Springfield. The first three take down pretty easily for cleaning.When I went to disassemble the Springfield for the first time, I found the bushing to be incredibly tight, and the recoil spring with such tension that I got hit in the face with the guide rod cap. The whole takedown/ reassembly was an awkward nightmare.This wrench saved my fingertips and my sanity. It make the process of working on my 1911 easy.I am delighted by this wrench. Being clear does make it easier to see what you are doing. I guess that it will scratch up with time (especially with how sharp that cap is), but at around $10 the cost is minimal for the frustration that allieves, and not having to worry about taking out an eye from a recoil spring getting away from you.

Just a simple little piece of plastic. Yet perfect for the job. Sturdy enough to last, and transparent so you can see exactly what you're doing as you do it.What made me choose THIS tool rather than the others is that it's not metal and won't scratch my gun, and it's transparent.The ONLY downside I can find is the price. No matter how nifty, how useful, it's a simple piece of plastic...and $12 is a little steep.

Works great!!! Perfect size, I cut an insert into the Styrofoam in my plastic case and it slips right in looks factory. Love the fact that its see through so that spring doesn't surprise me!

This little guy works great! I love being able to see through it. I love the piece of mind that comes with not having to be worried about scratches of my Colt 1911 Pistol!

This product is too small for the leverage required to easily use. It' overpriced for a piece of plastic.
