Clean cuts works great

Works well. Get it to cut brake hose. The end, being clean and square is important. Also keep an eye on the sharpness of the blade.It's great that it's an X-Acto blade. They are available from most craft stores and X-Acto even makes a titanium blade which should prolong the need to change blades as often.It is mostly plastic, so be careful throwing it in the toolbox, but it's a great idea to get a cutter to make sure the ends are perfect. If you screw up the ends, the install may fail.Be safe out there!

Works perfectly with no deformation of the hose. Uses a replaceable X-acto knife blade. Cuts through the hose like butter. Well worth every penny to any bike mechanic or DIY rider.

Cuts nice and clean. Does the job nicely and quickly. Simple to use. Would have given it 5 out of 5 if it weren't so pricey.

Works exactly as advertised, making a perfect cut at a 90 degree angle. Also, it takes regular x acto blades so when you run out of the handful that came with it replacements will be easy to find. Highly recommended as brakes are somewhat important in mountain biking.

I tried using my Pedro's wire cutters at first, and as amazing as those are, they were the wrong tool for the job. These hose cutters are the right tool. Perfect cuts every time and the blade is replaceable making this tool useful for years to come. This tool is well worth the money.

Does the job.Cut straight through my Shimano XT brake lines. Comes with an extra blade so that's nice. But the blades it uses are standard razor blades you can get at the store, so that's also good.

This is largely a waste of money. The edge of the blade completely rolled over and was unusable after making one cut in some Shimano brake hose.
