Very Well Built
Love the thing, I know at some point I will be using it for a drum or two, but what I bought it for was to move around potted trees in my solarium - picture an in the ground greenhouse - With each tree in 30 to 45 gallons of dirt I am way to old and handicapped to try, let alone succeed in dragging these things out of my way, without hurting something, them or me. But, with this, I simply rock the pot up a bit on one side, slide this under a bit, switch positions, pull it on, and away we go .... Easy on me, easy on the plants, easy on the brick floor, and the darn thing is really maneuverable too. Can't beat that

Works great to move heavy drums
I use this to transport open top drums full of metal chips from the CNC machines. Since the machines are in a climate controlled room, it's much easier to wheel these out thru a walk thru door than to open up the huge shop door and let all the cool air out. It does a great job and fits thru a normal doorway.Since I leave it under the drum all the time, I wish it had a brake on the swivel caster. It may be a mod I end up doing because it moves around (rolls) very easily.

Works pretty well, a little tricky to load
This works pretty well. You do have to be able to tip the drums a little to get it under there. You can use the handle in two ways, if the drum is mostly empty with no lid you can hook it inside and push, or if the drum has a lid, you can use it like a lever to lift the edge of the drum. The only issue is that the handle won't work on a drum that's mostly full but has no lid, since it pushes down on the lid to get leverage. It took me a while to figure this out.All in all considering it's about 1/3rd the price of a real drum hand truck, it does a pretty good job.

Pushes Easily on Concrete Floor
I bought this because I wanted to be able to load a full barrel onto it, move the barrel, remove the barrel from the dolly, and use the dolly to move another barrel. While the supplied handle does not work well for tipping a barrel that has a crimped / sealed top, it might work well on a barrel with a removable top. The lip on a barrel with a sealed top just does not protrude far enough from the side of the barrel for the supplied handle to get a good grip on it. I found that the handle isn't required to tip a full barrel and get it high enough to slip this dolly underneath it. The dolly is low enough to the ground that I can slide a barrel on without too much of a struggle. Once on the dolly, it rolls exceptionally well on a concrete floor. The dolly is also very well built and sturdy.

IF YOU HAVE A 55 GALLON FIRE DRUM
If you are like me, I use a 55 gallon drum for burning trash and branches from the yard. If you are like me you would put on work gloves, tilt the 55 gallon fire drum on its side, and roll it hand over hand to where ever you want to store the drum. The drum is dirty, rusty, heavy, and sometimes hot. You can roll it around like this or use this dolly which I love. It is built out of heavy metal, and can roll easily over grass, and moves the hottest and heaviest of drums around with ease. I move my drum around so often, I don't even bother to take the drum off the roller base but the handle lifts off with ease and I hang that up in the garage. Maybe stupid little problem but I love a simple answer that does a great job!

Easy to load with two people
I was surprised how easy it was to load a 500 lb drum, I bounced it and another guy pushed the base in,it took two bounces. while on the dolly one guy pulled with the handle and the other push up a ramp. The dolly rolled nicely and rolled over thresholds with no problem. I could figure out if the handle did anything else besides pulling and (untried) unscrewing the bung, other than that it was worth the price to move the drums around upright.

Nice caddie when loaded ... but ... read on
Runs smoothly over smooth concrete and manuvers easily BUT loading a full drum with only one person as shown on the pictures is not possible and probably an accident waiting to happen for most people. Two people can wrestle a drum into position if they are really motivated. We had to start loading drums onto this caddie with a fork lift equipped with a drum cradle. Once onto the caddie its a pretty decent transport unit on a flat surface. As a transport device, I like it better than a tipping type drum dolly and its probably easier and safer to use. It's just the loading issue where this caddie doesn't quite meet the expectations. If you are already fork-lifting drums into the circular-frame 4-wheel type caddies, this is a step up and is built quite well.Update: Nov. 2021: I just noticed a 5 star review by Dino / Sassy indicating that tipping and loading a 350 lb drum is simple and anyone who can’t do it is pathetic (or something like that). Well, yes I agree but 2 points. 1) most industrial chemicals have a much higher density than gasoline. A full drum of sulfuric acid or tetrachloroethane goes about 700 lbs and you can NOT load one of these safely or otherwise by yourself 2) loading on a polished concrete floor is also quite different than a rough driveway, the drum will begin to slide on the smooth floor rather than tip high enough to slip the dolly underneath. You can use the handle as a tipping lever but then you are standing exactly where you need to move the dolly. You loose again.

READ THIS First before you go any further.
This product is perfect for moving and loading 55 gallon drums of Gas, oil or diesel. People that said it is dangerous to load are idiots you barely have to tip drum to load if you are so weak you tip a 350# drum a tiny bit then you should not be handling anything like this anyways. Bottom line very nice dolly works perfect on my driveway and to move it around garage.. I use it for my 55 gallon drum of Sunoco 265 Unleaded fuel. Perfect in all aspects especially for the $120 free shipping here on Amazon.
