Truly repositionable!
I’m so impressed with this! I make collage art and I wanted a restickable glue stick that will allow me to stick my papers temporarily in case I need to move them around later. This works like a charm! It does leave a tiny bit of residue, but I don’t mind it because I always end up covering the residue with paper anyway.When I lift the papers up that I’ve stuck down with this, it feels like I’m lifting up a strong Post It note. I use painted newsprint papers for my collages so they’re very thin, but they have never teared whenever I need to peel them off. The formulation of this glue stick is magic! Plus it smells good, too (but that’s just me. Lol) Highly recommend!

Good for re-sticky-ing your cricut mats
I use this specifically for making my old cricut mats sticky again. When they get really messy I wash them with luke warm, slightly soapy water and let dry. The first couple of times the stickyness usually comes back. But eventually they stop being sticky. When that happens, I use this all over them in a light layer and it works just fine. It does wear off eventually and then I just give them a bath again and repeat. Cheaper than buying new mats all the time! But wish it cost a little less, even. :)

Leaves a bit of easy to remove residue, unlike real post it notes
I needed to make my own pre printed post it notes for an ongoing office project, and this was easy and quick to apply and stuck well. It does leave a bit of residue behind ( why it does not get five stars ) that comes off easily, but adds to the task.

It’s the same maybe a little stronger as post- its. I use it a lot. Use your own size paper.

A must have item
When I first encountered this glue stick over ten years ago, I couldn't believe how much I'd come to depend on it. I thought it would be like the permanent glue sticks I'd used before. I wanted something I could use and be able to remove and reposition the item. This did the job and I found that I could not need to concern myself with the item releasing from the surface. You can use it for almost anything that you would use a permanent glue stick for and get the advantage of being able to remove it... now or later. Ideal for mounting photographs in an album. Well worth the price. Highly recommended!

Not What The Ad Says
It's probably a typo, but it is advertised as "4.5 oz", when it reality it is .49 oz. Big difference between almost 5 ounces and less than 1/2 and ounce.
