Clean fun for the whole family from adults to children all playing together.
This is the best game to play with adults and young children all together. This past Christmas we went as an extended family to the mountains in Red River to ski. My brother and his three pre-teen and teen kiddos, me and my 17 year old, and my parents all stayed in a cabin that was furnished. In the den there were several games, many of which we had never played before. The kids pulled this one out and it was the hit of the vacation. We lit a fire, made hot chocolate and played games and no one even missed the television! It is played where one player rolls a dice and whatever letter comes up, each team has to answer the questions on their card with a name or word that begins with that letter. It is better to do something no one else would think about because if more than one team uses the same name or word, they cancel each other out. You get points for the number of questions you answer before the timer goes off. The kids looked forward to playing this game every night and switching up teams. There was no fighting because there were adults on teams mixed with the kids and the subjects were so random that some nights one team would win then the kids would want to switch teams the next night and because of the change in subjects another team might win. It was just an all out fun time playing together without all the digital/social media interruptions.

Fun and funny!
First time playing this game. I bought it as a request from my bestfriend for a Christmas party we held. When I say we were laughing in tears from playing haha we were having such a great time!Easy to understand. Easy to follow.*My biggest recommendation is that the game requires you to write on paper. The game does not include writing utensils so make sure you have some pens/pencils.**Also, the game comes with 4 boards to use as a clipboard to help you write on a solid area. If you have more than 4 people playing, play at a table or grab a few clipboards. We used magazines lol It was a total of 7 people, including myself.I hope this review helps!

Great game for a bunch of players.
Classic party game. You can play with as many people as you want even though the game reads 2 to 4 teams. You really don't even need teams. I recently played with seven individuals. Its a great creative game. Clever people do well but can often hinder themselves by missing the easiest options. All you need is the list for everyone to see, a pen and pad of paper for each player and the letter die. You roll the die and it chooses a letter, then using the list you write down answers that begin with that letter for each item on the list. You score points for having something others don't have. For example, you roll a "T". The list has things to do on a date. You can write "Travel", "Talk", or whatever "T" words works. The next listed item may read"Famous Cartoon Characters" in which you answer "Tony the Tiger". After the timer runs out (its a pretty lengthy timer and does give enough timer to review each listed item and think about it), you then compare answers among the group one listed item at a time. If someone else wrote Travel and so did you neither player gets a point, but if only you did, you score a point. If you wrote Tony the Tiger, and no one else did you would score three points! One for each "T" in the name. You play off of multiple lists and total up the points to see who wins!

Classic crowd pleaser...
This may not have the 'risque' questions that you will find in other games that are now on the market, but for a great family game look no further. I brought this home for Christmas and we played in non stop and had a blast after each round. You can also include the ENTIRE family (think conservative grandma to children) without worrying whether you will hurt someones feelings or egos. The basic premise is that you come up with answers to questions on a sheet that correspond with letter that appears on the 26 sided die. Let your imagine run wild and come up with fun and unique answers to the questions. Points are awarded for each individual answer that is a duplicate of anyone else playing. Really pretty simple. You can also adjust the rules to your taste. This is a laugh a minute and will really add to any gathering no matter the audience. A great value considering the price of some of the other board games that are out there.

So Much Fun
We love this game! I didn't give it a 5 star review because it is made cheaply. Definitely not as good as the old ones.

Thanksgiving Tradition
Every year for the past 15 years I’ve brought Scattergories to play after Thanksgiving dinner well last year we didn’t get to play because my game grew legs during my move…hmmm! So I had to repurchase it I haven’t opened it yet but, a few things looking at the outside of the box and on Amazon it doesn’t look like the one I had before. (Fingers 🤞🏾) Overall is one of the of the best board games I’ve ever played in my life!!!

Fun basics of game, cheap boards
Such a fun and creative game, it has given us a lot of chances to laugh and play together. However, the boards are cheap and cracked at the joints easily. Invest and buy the slightly better quality game for a little more money and it would be perfect.
