Ba Tampte Tomato Pickled, 32 oz

I am from the tristate area, and moved to NC a few years ago. Had a huge craving for these, and no where near me sold this brand. They remind me of home especially growing up eating them with my dad. So yummy! Hated paying that much, but I regret nothing.

I have ate these since childhood, however local stores rarely carry. I have ordered this 3 times through this vendor. After pushing the delivery date back multiple times, I have yet to ever receive an order. After weeks I end up having to cancel and wait on a refund. Waste of time, I have found a supplement Jerseys Sour Tomato's, I don't like as much as the Ba Tampte but at least I receive the order.

Excellent flavor. Crispy--quite unlike too many other pickling attempts that turn out mushy green tomatoes. Expensive, but since I cannot find these where I live, worth the little luxury.

This is the second type of pickle that I bought. Both were broken and leaked all over the box. Unable to be eaten I was not able to get replacement or refund.

These are absolutely amazing! I could definitely eat the whole jar in one setting. The crisp pickled taste of these is something I haven’t ever came by. And I love everything pickled. The reason for the 4 star isn’t the taste. It’s because the shipment took longer than the dry ice lasted. These are meant to stay cold/refrigerated and when I got my tomatoes they were warm and the dry ice was melted. But because they are not cheap for something pickled I kept. Definitely glad I kept because they are so tasty. I feel like the quality would’ve been even better though if they came cold like they there were meant to be.

Are used to buy these pickles tomatoes same brand at Publix and they discontinued them. For some reason when I ordered these I thought I was getting a case of six. My bad! When I realized I was just getting one I looked back and yes that’s what I ordered. The flavor wasn’t quite as good as what I remembered either. So yes I was very disappointed that I spent $23 on one jar of pickled tomatoes.

Ordered 2 jars, both arrived leaking and what little liquid left in jars was cloudy and murky. Tomatoes were ovrrly soft and tasteless, and the product is not eligible for return or refund!! Hot garbage.

I didn’t love the flavor or texture at all. I haven’t been able to get these anywhere near me so I finally gave him and shelled out the money for these but they are so expensive for subpar quality. As a lot of other people said, the liquid is definitely murky and off putting but the flavor itself just wasn’t what I wanted at all. I will never purchase again and I would not recommend them in any way.
