This is easily the finest (as in the size of the ‘grains’) psyllium husk powder I’ve ever used. It does tend to both clump and stick to one’s throat, so exercise a bit of caution and common sense. It appears to be pure husk powder, with no sugar, flavorings, or additives, which is exactly what I want. And, most importantly, it works.

This is psyllium powder, not the pictured whole husks. Yes, this does make a massive difference, both in preparation for consumption and the end result. Trust me, for direct consumption, as opposed to say use as an ingredient, whole husks are what you want. Yes, it does say powder in the product description but not all descriptions are carefulIy written so I’m used to the picture being more accurate.

Husband gives this stuff two thumbs up. Most brands of psyllium powder sold at our local stores have sweeteners and flavoring that are unpleasant to him. The plain unadulterated brand is very expensive. This Earthworks psyllium is a great deal price-wise, and, according to husband, has a superior taste to boot. He reports that it tastes more like oats, whereas the store brand tastes more like cardboard. Thanks for the great product!

I take a teaspoon every morning w/ a full glass of water (I actually put in into room temperature water, in a ;shaker cup -- shake it IMMEDIATELY, and HARD for ONLY A FEW SECONDS, and then guzzle the whole thing as fast as I can. The longer you let it sit around, the thicker and in my opinion more difficult it is to drink. And, it doesn't dissolve as well in cold water, so that's why I use room temp. It's far from delicious, but it gets the job done. And, i don't think it tastes particularly bad, it doesn't have much taste at all, or if pushed, I'd say it tastes like bland cardboard (as opposed to "strong" cardboard -- but I'm not ingesting it for the taste, and I don't spend any time trying to make it taste good. I just put my big girl underpants on, and get it down.

One of the better psyllium powders. Virtually without taste and if added to enough water, stirred and drunk quickly, very palatable. I've tried many brands over the the years, this is a good value and good product

I’ve purchased this psyllium several times before. It has always been excellent quality, uniform grind, unflavored, and unsweetened. Just the way I like it!

I use this in my morning protein shake (low-carb) to promote regularity, and it definitely works. Better and cheaper than Metamucil. The 10 lb bag will last me all year, Great service too. Two thumbs up.
