Worst product
I bought this product to get some relief from back pain; however, it doesn't get warm even like lukewarm water. I contacted Beurer customer care and they say that "All Beurer heat products conform to stringent safety regulations which regulate the maximum temperature to a level that is beautifully warm but not overly hot." If it doesn't get warm then how will anyone get relief from pain? I thought this is a German company so product must be good. But I feel now that I was wrong. This is a waste of money.

Not Just For Pain
Anyone who suffers from lower back pain will tell you how debilitating it can be. I was in a car accident when I was in my early 20’s and I suffered slipped discs in my lower 3 vertebrae. So badly had the discs slipped, they pushed against my sciatic nerve which prevented me from walking unaided. After several months of physiotherapy, I was ok.Whilst I can run, play tennis and do all of the things I want, it often comes at a price and I often suffer from lower backpain. Heat is a massive help though, and I have been using this device for a while now and I find that it really helps to reduce the pain.This device is really soft to wear, and after a few minutes the device is warm. The device fits well to my medium frame and has heating elements all the way from my lower back all the up to my neck. However, unless you are prepared to wear the neck strap quite tight, your neck wont get the same level of heat that rest of my back gets.The only downside was that the power cord is a little on the short side, and when I use it in the living room I need to use an extension, which is not ideal. However, when I am in my office, I am close enough to the plug socket.There are 3 heat setting which produces varying amounts of heat. I prefer the middle setting, it takes longer for the heat to penetrate my back, but I don’t mind since I am usually sat wearing the device whilst I work. Also there is an automatic 90 minute shut down.My partner also likes using the device, I often found her wearing it before we took our son to his junior football matches and then again when she got back after being frozen on the touchline for the entire game.For medicinal use though it does give my lower back the relief I need to go for a run and participate in various sports.Recommended.

Beautifully soft, comforting and great for pain relief
I've suffered with neck, shoulder and back pain for more than 25 years and find that heat has always been the best pain relief for me.... so I was excited to give this product a go.The instructions for use are really clear - you plug it in and off you go with three heat settings to choose from. It fastens around the neck via a Velcro strap and also around the waist (with an adjustable strap and clip like you'd find on a dog collar) so the heat wraps all the round. Personally I thought the power cord was a bit short and I'll need to use it with an extension lead. It heats up really quickly and, in my case, provided immediate relief. It's made from a really soft fabric and is completely comfortable to sit or lie on. The temperature dial is illuminated but is difficult to see in the daylight and has an automatic 90 minute shut off. There is a notable difference between the three heat settings making it good for those who want the benefit of the warmth without getting overly hot.I don't really like the way this fastens around the neck - the Velcro strap comes across the front of the throat and to feel the heat in my neck I needed this quite tight - though the product is really soft and not stiff at all, it does need to be moulded to fit and I didn't like the sensation of having it fastened around the throat - but having said that, the heat on my neck was fantastic. It also seems a bit of a missed opportunity that the shape of this product means it doesn't heat the shoulder area. I have all sorts of problems with my shoulder and it was frustrating to have such a great product but the shape means the shoulders are missed. However, it is really soft and pliable and I guess it could be used differently for use on the shoulders if necessary.This is a superb product and appears really well made. It's washable too. For people with back pain where the pain responds to heat I think this is a must. It's just fantastic to feel the warmth all through your neck and back without having to be trying to get a hot water bottle or similar in just the right place.This product comes with warnings that it shouldn't be used by people with heat sensitivity issues, including those with diabetes and that those with pacemakers should not have any difficulties with this item but should check with their GP and pacemaker manufacturer prior to use.

Fast heat short lived
Heats fast Soft material. Bought last Nov 2022. Now May 2023 no longer works. Use for lower back pain relief it has been used a lot but expect more than 7 months usage

Had a few of these now and they all stop working after 6 months. And they're not cheap. Don't waste your money

High performance heat
This heat pad get the heat rising very quickly. It is soft to the touch. It's like being given a nice warm hug.I haven't used any other heat pads before so I don't know if this is overpriced (£39.99 at time of review)It is a quality product and performs it's job very well.The only slight niggle I’d have with it is the adjustability of the fit
